And just like that, 2024’s coming to a close and we’re gonna be heading right into Christmas’ festivities pretty soon. As such, unless you want to contend with crowds of last-minute gift scramblers, it’s never too early to start doing some shopping of your own.
Thankfully, Chinatown Point concurs, as they’ve already prettied up their premises and lined up a bunch of activities for visitors as part of their Enchanted Christmas promotions. Here’s all you need to know when you’re checking out your carts at the mall.
When it comes to celebrating major holidays on the Little Red Dot, Chinatown Point pulls no punches; just look at their Mid-Autumn and Chinese New Year celebrations that took place earlier this year.
For an extra special Christmas this year, swing by the mall’s Outdoor Atrium on Level 1. From now till 25th December 2025, a towering nutcracker soldier-themed display will be greeting shoppers, so feel free to snap some pics to herald the holiday season on IG. The display lights up beautifully at night; head down once it gets dark to marvel at it in all its glory.
Nearby, keep an eye out for a hidden red postbox. This one’s not just for show, as you’ll be able to mail postcards to your loved ones. Simply visit the mall’s Customer Service Counter on Level 2 to redeem a free postcard and stamp for local addresses. It’s limited to 500 redemptions only, so head down swiftly to claim a set for yourself.
Also, there’s a music box photo spot on the other side of the postbox that makes for a pretty backdrop for even more snaps. Its interior is all dressed in sheet music and glows beautifully under the cover of night, as you live out scenes from the iconic story of The Nutcracker.

Moreover, there’ll be live performances happening at these enchanting installations to look forward to. At 12pm on 29th November and 6th December 2024, a toy soldier band will be making its rounds. Additionally, a merry ensemble of Christmas carolers will be serenading the masses at 5.30pm, on 30th November and 7th December 2024.
As an added bonus to your trips to Chinatown Point, you’ll be able to bring home a couple of gifts from the mall itself. Rack up a minimum spend of $108 with up to 3 same-day receipts, and you’ll receive a pair of dazzling aurora-like glasses, along with a nutcracker soldier-motiffed gift wrapping paper.
Make your way to the Customer Service Centre on Level 2 to claim your freebies. Do note that these are limited to 1 redemption per shopper per day, and are based on a first come first served basis, while stocks last.
If you’d like to get your purchases gift-ready while supporting a good cause, drop by the Donate As You Wish gift-wrapping booth set up by the Singapore Red Cross. Happening from 25th November to 24th December 2024, it’s located on Basement 1 of the mall, near Welcia-BHG.
Finally, to spread the holiday magic, you can also pay a visit to The Salvation Army Singapore’s annual Christmas Kettling. Donations raised here will go a long way to help the needy; it’s taking place from 23rd November to 21st December 2024, at the Outdoor Atrium.
For even more reasons to celebrate, Chinatown Point is bolstering the holiday cheer with a slew of Christmas deals you can enjoy at some of their stores. Here are all the deets so you know exactly where to head when you pop by:
Once Mariah Carey’s greatest Christmas hits start climbing the Spotify charts again, that should be your cue to pay a visit soon to start checking off gifts from your shopping list. So, do yourself a favour and head down to Chinatown Point this year-end to get your gift hunting done ahead of time, and usher in the holidays with their bustling festivities.
