The Cat Cafe has 2 outlets for you to choose from. If you’re looking for a more laid back session, we’d recommend their outlet at Bugis where the cats are older, between the ages of 8- 15 years old and are generally more calm. For more fun and excitement, The Rail Mall outlet has active cats between the ages of 3 and 6.

The Rail Mall outlet is wheelchair accessible too, so you can bring your ah ma and ah gong along for an adorable day out.
In between playing with the cats, you can grab a bite or sip on some freshly brewed coffee. You can’t go wrong with a chicken mushroom pie ($6) or chicken wrap ($8) – there are even desserts such as affogato ($8) and brownie with ice cream ($8).

The Cat Museum & Academy is a 3-storey shophouse along North Bridge Road. Its interior is designed to resemble a home setting so that it’s easier to imagine what it’d be like to have a little furball around the house. Each visit costs $20/hour and all proceeds help contribute to the cat’s living expenses such as their food and vet bills.

Visitors can also pick up artworks of cats as well as some furniture such as cat beds, scratching poles, and toys for their nekos at home.

At $9/hour, NekoTown is one of the most affordable cat cafes around, if you want to spend some time playing with felines. Cat toys are available for you to bond with them, and each visitor is allowed to purchase 1 packet of wet cat treats ($1) for the resident kitties. For the humans, free flow drinks are available.
Visitors are recommended to make a reservation before heading down.

There are many ways to destress and spending time with animals is definitely one of them. Whenever you’re visiting a cat cafe, avoid grabbing, picking up, or carrying the cats if you aren’t sure how to do so in order to avoid hurting them. Also, refrain from feeding them outside food or making loud sounds as cats are sensitive to loud noises.
Remember to be gentle and not to disturb the cats if they’re sleeping. If unsure, always check with the staff who’ll be around.
