11 Cat Cafes In SG From $9/Hour Including Cageless Adoption Centres & Art Jamming With Kitties

Cat cafes in Singapore

Cat cafes have been growing in popularity and it’s really not that hard to understand why. Whether you’re a cat or dog person, seeing these furry creatures lazing around and being amused by something as simple as a string can bring joy to your day.

If you’re looking for some animal therapy, head to these cat cafes in Singapore – including one that lets you art jam with the kitties.

What is the purpose of a cat cafe?

Cat cafes are chill areas for visitors to experience meeting and playing with cats. The cafes usually include an entrance fee that goes towards the well-being of the cats, including their food, grooming, and veterinary care.

They’re great for those who may be thinking about buying or adopting a cat and want to know more about a feline’s temperament first. Or for those who may not have the means to look after a cat full-time but want to play with one. Cat cafes that allow children also provide little ones with the opportunity to learn how to be kind and gentle with cats.

How much does it cost to visit a cat cafe?

Prices start from $9/hour and most include a complimentary drink with the entrance fee. We’ve compiled the prices of cat cafes in Singapore in this table.

What can I do at a cat cafe in Singapore?

There are many ways to destress and spending time with animals is definitely one of them. Whenever you’re visiting a cat cafe, avoid grabbing, picking up, or carrying the cats if you aren’t sure how to do so in order to avoid hurting them. Also, refrain from feeding them outside food or making loud sounds as cats are sensitive to loud noises.

Remember to be gentle and not to disturb the cats if they’re sleeping. If unsure, always check with the staff who’ll be around.

Visit these cat cafes in Singapore

With these cat cafes in Singapore, you’ve got plenty of outlets to destress and wind down with some furry felines. Most of them offer refreshments to fuel your cat-playing session, and some even allow you to adopt their residents. Either way, we’re not complaining that there’s always a way to spend some time with some friendly kitties.
