Instead of searching around various places, visit Cardboard Collectible. It’s a trading card shop that stocks the latest packs from old and new card games and even has a community that gathers for friendly matches.

The shop is conveniently located at Orchard Gateway mall, just a 3-minute walk from Somerset MRT station. It sells a variety of trading card games such as Duel Masters, Battle Spirits, and Pokemon, as well as accessories like card sleeves and deck cases.
In terms of price range, you’ll find single cards that cost just a few dollars and also cards that cost a few hundred dollars, depending on how exclusive it is. For just $10, you can get a fully built deck like the Duel Masters DM23-S23 Start WIN Deck: Kakumei Amazing Magic. Novice collectors will come here to find curated single cards from the shop’s well organised index, to improve their own decks or simply find their favourite ones.
They also organise tournaments every month for different card games, with prizes such as limited edition merchandise and promotional card accessories. To join these tournaments, you’ll have to sign up on openings on their website or google forms released on their IG page.

If you were a Y2K kid, you would have known that Duel Masters was all the craze back then. Ever since the Duel Masters TV show was broadcasted on Mediacorp’s Kids Central channel in 2002, primary school kids would flock to the nearest neighbourhood shops to buy the cards and bring them to school where we would play against our friends during recess.

Here at Cardboard Collectible, you will be able to find the latest decks and curated single cards, ranging from an affordable $0.20 to a considerable price of $278 based on the card’s rarity. They also have rare promotional cards like the Duel Masters – P101/Y19 ($138), and stock the latest series from DMX to DM24.
Pro tip: As some of the cards sold are pre-loved, the store uses a ranking system which tells you the condition of the cards. If you are buying single cards, do check the rank that’s stated in the item description to know what you are paying for.

Do note that while you can buy booster boxes and single cards from their website, you can only get individual card packs at their physical shop. The cards you bring will go through a grading assessment, and grading fees will vary depending on the value and condition of them.
