Anyone who’s passed by City Hall has probably paused to marvel at Capitol Singapore’s awe-inspiring facade, where old-world charm meets sleek and swanky architecture. For September 2019, Capitol Singapore is going to be home to a whole host of laid-back activities to usher in each weekend throughout the month.

The line-up includes a weekend market and live band, world-class magic performances, outdoor movie screenings of Marvel blockbusters and a smorgasbord of international delicacies all under one roof.

Exclusive F&B promotions and live music performances

Toast to the end of another week slogging it out at work or school, by indulging in scrumptious meals across a variety of cuisines while live music fills the evening air. A handful of eateries managed by The Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore will be offering irresistible promos that’ll whet your appetite without hurting your wallet. 

Each of these restaurants and cafes can be found at Arcade @ The Capitol Kempinski, the hotel’s F&B extension which features diverse aesthetic concepts within each eatery.

Vintage Market by The Retro Factory – unique accessories, antiques & crafts

Something about coursing through a market or swap meet just feels so much more wholesome than roaming around one shopping centre after the other. Plus, the fascinating buys you get to stumble upon are always heaps more unique and valuable than mass-produced items.

The Retro Factory is bringing that experience right to the heart of town with a Vintage Market, where booths will be peddling a diverse range of treasure finds including jewellery and fashion accessories, handmade crafts, art pieces and antiques.

There’ll also be a live band performing at 2PM, 3PM & 4PM every day the Vintage Market is up and running, to accompany your shopping spree with saccharine vocals and smooth tunes. The vocalists will be as follows:

Feast your eyes on an illusory showcase courtesy of TK Jiang, the one and only award-winning digital magician in the whole of Singapore. 

Tapping into technology to give magic a mind-blowing new-age upgrade, TK Jiang has clinched championship titles as well as People’s Choice awards across a multitude of national magic competitions. He’s also the only local magician so far who has managed to score the Golden Buzzer on Asia’s Got Talent, so you know he’s the real deal.

The good folks at Capitol Singapore are bringing unconventional movie screenings one step closer to our sunny shores with Movie at Capitol, a screening hosted at their stunning outdoor plaza.
