Capitol Singapore & CHIJMES CNY 2023

Yeah, we know what you’re thinking. How on Earth is Chinese New Year around the corner? Well, it is – which means it’s time to break your all-red outfits out of storage, shop for CNY snacks, and plan which mall’s party you’ll be crashing.

Now, it can be confusing to sift through all the festivities happening at the malls around town. But we’ve done the sifting and found one place that’s worthy of your time and money. Hit up Capitol Singapore & CHIJMES for a CNY fair, Hollywood-themed pop-up, and a tonne of freebies.

Gather at a BABYLON pop-up

CHIJMES, however, is doing things a little differently. You won’t find any rabbit-related decor here. Instead, it’s hosting a major BABYLON movie-themed pop-up at The Lawn from now till 5th February, and you’re invited.

If you haven’t made plans to go see the blockbuster on the big screen, you will after seeing the flapper fashion, vintage motifs, and epic photo ops at CHIJMES. They’re epic and will send you straight back to the biggest party era in US history.

Feel free to show up in a fancy outfit with strings of pearls and a fluttering fan like it’s the 1920s and strike a pose with the life-sized BABYLON installation. From now till 5th February, when you post your pic on social media and tag @chijmes.sg, you may be able to snag a BABYLON cocktail mixer set (worth $150 each).
