2. Latest Recipe, Le Méridien Kuala Lumpur
Latest Recipe is known for their wide array of dishes from various stations such as the Malay Kerabu Station, the Goreng Goreng Station, Noodles Station and so on. Chef Zubir, one of the judges of Master Chef Malaysia cooking competition series, has featured the Ayam Masak Gulai Merah Lengkuas and Masak Lemak Cili Padi Daging Salai Bersame Rebung here at Latest Recipe.
Here, patrons can also savour traditional fare from Kelantan, Perak, Penang and more, so you need not travel all the way back to your kampung for the familiar taste of home.

3. Contango, Majestic Hotel
With a seating capacity for 250 people and 2 open kitchens, expect the spread at Contango to be huge. They also cater to dinner parties of a minimum of 30 persons at RM 120++ per head. In addition to that, there will also be a special menu featuring Udang Galah Sambal from Perak, Negeri Sembilan’s famed Rendang Itik and Terengganu’s signature Singgang Tulang.
Serving not only traditional cuisines but also international ones, they also have the Teppanyaki Station, Thai Station and Tandoori Station. Last but certainly not least, make your way over to the dessert counter for traditional desserts as well as cakes and ice cream.

4. Eccucino, Prince Hotel
Eccucino has numerous live cooking stations, where you will find freshly cut salmons and lamb roasted to perfection. Don’t forget the grill, where your seafood and meat are cooked on the spot for you.
Other than the Sup Tulang and the traditional Bubur Lambuk, the chef strongly recommends Laksa Johor, which is no ordinary laksa. Instead of rice noodles, Laksa Johor is prepared using spaghetti noodles. Also, don’t miss out on their Roti Canai Durian!

5. JW Marriott
Serving over 130 promising dishes, JW Marriott’s Ramadan Buffet is one of the best spreads in town. During the Ramadan month, the poolside area and the conference centre transform into a traditional kampung setting to usher in the Ramadan spirit. Enjoy your buffet by the poolside area, with the cool night breeze and the spectacular view.
JW Marriott’s roasted lamb with black pepper sauce is a must-try – it’s a burst of flavours in your mouth. Besides that, the grilled tilapia here is also worth a try. Be sure to sample their spread of western desserts as well as traditional ones such as Kuih Ketayap and Pengat Pisang.

6. Checkers Café, Dorsett Regency
Themed ‘Dapur-Dapur Malaysia’ this year, Dorsett Regency will be going all out to provide patrons with a quality Ramadan buffet. Diners here will be spoilt for choice as there will be quite a spread in each station for diners to sink their teeth into.
Apart from the thick and flavourful Bubur Lambuk here, the popular Kambing Panggang ‘Kuzi” Style is one you need to sample as its delicious, tender and moist meat will have you going for second and third helpings. Another famous item here is their Sup Rusa Dorsett Regency, or Venison Soup.

Over the years, Melting Pot has made a name for itself with its authentic, delicious spread. Of course, diners will be spoilt for choice as they also serve international fare here such as seafood and teppanyaki dishes.
It is strongly recommended that you try the Gearbox Soup, which you sip with a straw. Their smoked duck is also delicious and will leave you wanting more. 8. Sime Darby Convention Centre
Not only is the Ramadan buffet at Sime Darby worth the money, it is also tasty with a significant spread of over 100 all-time favourite dishes. Another reason to break fast here is because they have more than 30 stalls continuously serving diners fresh food.
For starters, try the light, fresh Bubur Lambuk. Also, keep your eyes peeled for the Mexican Fajitas served alongside Jalapenos and Pistachio Buns. As for desserts, the Chocolate Mousse is a must-have as well as Nyonya and Malay kuihs. The Ice Cream Goreng and ABC here sell like hotcakes.

At Seasons Café, patrons will be treated to an impressive spread of 130 dishes prepared by their Master Chefs. What’s more, the chefs have prepared seven buffet menus to be rotated daily – you can never try everything in one visit.

As this Ramadan buffet is inspired by the late P. Ramlee, get ready to be blown away by mouthwatering Malaysian dishes. You can also expect a showcase of the beloved artiste’s songs, films and themed settings.
Satays and roast lamb are a must for Ramadan, and the ones here at InterContinental are to die for. Satay here is served with delicious peanut sauce and the Kambing Bakar Saddiq Sigarana with garlic, thyme, roasted potato and garlic rosemary sauce. Don’t forget the grilled items!
