Block Party at Our Tampines Hub
If your TikTok FYP has been flooded with videos of impossibly cool Gen Zs hanging out at aesthetic pop-ups around the world lately, you might’ve been asking: “Singapore when?”
We’ve got good news for you: this May, Block Party SG is taking over Our Tampines Hub with what might just be one of the biggest hangouts in Singapore. The community-driven event is happening on 23rd May 2026 from 12pm-10pm. Expect a full-day takeover packed with food, music, sports, shopping, and activities. And the best part, entry is free.
Take part in activities like street chess & Beyblade battles

There’s plenty to do at Block Party SG – with activities like a street chess meet by Aliwal Chess Club, basketball, and Beyblade battles. For the latter, get into the arena and take part in a 3-on-3 competition at OTH’s open field, hosted by Easties BBX. Participation costs $10/pax.

And if you want to document the chaos with your friends, head straight to the Instax photobooth by Hands On Film. They’re a store based in Bali Lane selling film cameras and rolls – but for one day only, you’ll get to capture moments at OTH and keep them for memories.

There’ll also be chill hangout corners scattered around the venue, making it the sort of place where you accidentally spend six hours without realising. Add music and plenty of people-watching opportunities into the mix, and you’ve got an uber fun Gen Z playground.
Shop local merch & try out a live vinyl listening booth
Besides activities, there’ll also be specially curated local brands selling everything from kawaii stickers to apparel and collectables. So if you’ve been wanting to shop, this is your sign.

But that’s not all – we’ve got just the perfect Saturday activity for you. One highlight is the booth collaboration between SpinningRoundsRecords and VinylVault.sg, where you can browse affordable records, discover cool pressings, and even try out a live vinyl listening booth.
Whether you’re a hardcore collector or someone who just likes the aesthetic of owning records, it’s a fun way to dip into Singapore’s growing vinyl community while vibing to music with fellow crate diggers.
Look out for food like matcha, coffee & doughnuts

No good hangout is complete without food, and thankfully, Block Party understood the assignment. There’ll also be light bites and drinks to keep you going throughout the day. Dig into Pralet‘s fluffy sourdough doughnuts while sipping on Rumi Folks‘ matcha.
And if you’ve got a sweet tooth, we recommend the ice cream from Sweek Cheeks to beat the heat. Psst, we’ve heard their Gianduja Praline is to die for.

We don’t want to hear another mention of “Singapore is boring leh”. If your ideal weekend involves good food, music, games, shopping, and hanging out with your friends in one place, Block Party might just be your next favourite event. All you have to do now is get the whole gang together for a hangout.
