Heads up DC Comics fans! To celebrate the 80th anniversary since Batman’s first appearance in the comics, DC Comics will be launching its first-ever Batman Run in several cities around the world such as Los Angeles, Hong Kong and right here in Singapore.
You might have experienced Batman in movies and games, but on 21st September 2019, live the adrenaline in real life with this dark knight-themed run at the Marina Barrage. Look forward to bat capes, masks and possibly a congregation of the largest number of ‘Batmans’ you’ve ever seen!

For all the fans out there, you don’t have to wait until Halloween to dress up as the Caped Crusader as you’ll be donning a Batman mask, cape and limited edition tee for this race.
Imagine a whole group of Dark Knights running the streets of Singapore together – now that’s gotta be a sight to see!
A fun activity for people of all ages, the Batman Run features a beginner-friendly 8KM Competitive Run. A 4KM Fun Run is also available for families with kids who’d like to participate together.
With the kick-off time at 6PM, and start point at Marina Barrage, runners can look forward to a scenic sunset run.
Essentially a Batman starter kit, the race pack comes with a black top with the bat symbol on it with a domino mask and cape. Those participating in the 8KM category will get a singlet, while those in the 4KM get a tee.
A bonus if you happen to be among the first 2,000 to register, you’ll get an exclusive waist pouch with a slick Batman logo in silver on the front.
