City Hall is bursting with life, not just with Light to Night 2022 currently dazzling up the evenings; or Funan’s new underpass link. Capitol Singapore also shares the spotlight, with its brand new Korean pottery studio Am I Addicted, with rates starting from $20/2H, and a 1-for-1 opening deal through the month of January.
For those who miss trips to the land of kimchi and K-pop, enjoy authentic Korean-style pottery here while we wait for VTL arrangements to resume.

Unlike many other pottery classes in Singapore, the 6,000-sqft-large Am I Addicted studio sources high-quality clay and apparatus from South Korea – a country well known for its gorgeous ceramic wares.
While this may suggest a premium price tag, you’ll be glad to know that prices for standard classes begin from a reasonable $80/pax, comparable to many pottery workshops out there today.

Better news for those on a budget: from now till 31st January 2022, you can also sign up with a friend to redeem a 1-for-1 promotion on their standard classes, which means you just need to fork out $40/person. All materials will be provided, with five different types of clay and 130 different types of glazes you can choose from to create a unique piece to take home.
Meanwhile, those who already know the ropes can sign up for an open studio session for access to the space and tools from just $20/2H.

Once you’re done with your session, swing by their in-house Korean cafe to unwind and enjoy vegetarian and raw vegan dishes. The menu may come as a surprise considering Korean food often comprises meat, but here you can find vegan-friendly Jardin Bibimbap ($20) and vegan Grilled Cheese Kimchi Sandwich ($16).

Wash it all down with handmade Korean chung (from $6.90), a refreshing preserved puree drink.

It seems like the incoming barrage of new things to do in January 2022 won’t be subsiding anytime soon. If you need a hand in choosing one, pottery workshops at Am I Addicted is a fail proof way to spend the weekend since you won’t be at the mercy of sweltering heat, or rain. Plus, with vegan options on the table, anyone in your circle can enjoy the food here.
