Whether you’re a seasoned Magic: The Gathering player or just started out collecting Pokémon cards, card shows and conventions are one of the best ways to hunt for rare finds, pick up new additions for your binder, and bond with fellow Trading Card Game (TCG) enthusiasts.

If you’re new to the trading card scene, card shows are events where TCG fans gather to buy, sell, and trade cards, browse pop-culture collectables, or even take part in TCG tournaments to win prizes.

Popular TCGs include Pokémon, Riftbound, and One Piece, and you’ll find vendors selling everything from booster packs and sealed products to graded cards sealed in protective cases, also known as slabs.

Beyond being a marketplace, these events are also a chance for fans to meet fellow TCG players, build connections with dealers face-to-face, and share their passion for the hobby. Most card conventions take place over the weekends, with many offering free entry, though some shows may require registration or have paid tickets with additional perks.

1. Asia Cards & Collectible Expo

6 weekends from 24th October to 13th December 2026

For the 1st weekend, visitors can look forward to the Moo-Bladers Club, a community-driven Beyblade X tournament. Entry into the tournament costs $22, with participants receiving $20 worth of CPCM tokens and a complimentary drink. Even if you’re not there to shop for cards, you can still join in the fun and let it rip with Beyblade fans.

While details for the other activities haven’t been confirmed yet, previous editions featured drawing contests, lucky draws, and dedicated playing zones where you can learn how to play TCGs like Pokémon and Magic: The Gathering.
