How to know which stores accept CDC Vouchers?

For neighbourhood stores and hawker centres, look out for the green “Hawkers and Heartland Merchants” decal. They should have it displayed on their storefront or near the cashier. If you’re visiting a supermarket, only those with the yellow “Supermarkets” decal can take CDC vouchers.
And if you want to double-check, pop the store name into the CDC Vouchers Go Where portal to verify it’s one of the merchants.
1. Lucky Store

Anybody who has toyed with the idea of using their CDC vouchers to get a Kobo e-reader would have heard of Lucky Store. Shoutout to the TikTok hero who chose not to gatekeep this place from the rest of us. Stock is hot right now, so we recommend calling ahead to reserve yours. They’ll inform you via WhatsApp when the stock is in, and you can swing by and pick it up.

For the uninitiated, the Kobo is an e-reader by Japanese company Rakuten, and it’s similar to Amazon’s Kindle. The main appeal for Singaporean readers is the OverDrive feature, which allows readers to borrow NLB books directly from the device for free. There are a few models to choose from, like the Kobo Clara Black & White and Kobo Libra Colour, so there’s something for every budget.

2. Gamewerks

Gamewerks is a video game store in Clementi that accepts CDC vouchers for all items bought in-store. They have both the Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5 consoles, along with a variety of accessories to deck out your setup.

Visit the store to browse a solid lineup of Nintendo and PS5 games, including the new Ghost of Yōtei ($97.90), which was just released on 2nd October 2025.
3. ArchWizard

ArchWizard sells a variety of tech to check out, from electronics like boxing targets to home appliances like hair dryers. But for gaming devices, they have the PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, Meta Quest, and Xbox sets available for both purchase and rental. Aspiring racers out there can also rent a full-on racing simulator and host your very own mini Grand Prix.
There’s another outlet at Jalan Pemimpin, but only the Plantation Plaza outlet accepts CDC vouchers at the time of writing.
4. War Games

If you’re a hardcore fan of trading cards, you have to check out War Games. They sell a bunch of trading card sets, including popular IPs like Pokémon and One Piece. While you’re there, you’ll also be able to get your hands on a PlayStation 5 or Nintendo Switch, plus a wide range of games to go with them.

Surprise, surprise – your supermarket CDC vouchers aren’t just for groceries, you can also use them to get a Nintendo Switch 2 console and games at FairPrice Xtra outlets. These consoles are in hot demand, especially with the game bundle deals on offer, so don’t sleep on it – stock is limited.
For a hassle-free hunt, do a quick search on the Fairprice Group app (App Store | Google Play) to see which outlet has stock available. Toggle to the “Grocery in-store” page and search for the FairPrice Xtra outlets near you. From there, just look up the Nintendo Switch – no more wandering from store to store.
