Haw Ror Villa 4! – Haw Par Villa’s Halloween Event Is Back With 3 New Scare Zones For One Last Time

Haw Ror Villa 4!

Over the past few years, Haw Par Villa’s annual Haw Ror Villa festival has become the go-to spot for scares with an Asian twist during spooky szn. This year, it’s back for its grand finale – Haw Ror Villa 4!, happening across 13 nights from 3rd October to 1st November 2025.

If you missed last year’s Haw Ror Villa 3 sold-out edition, here’s your last chance to experience one of the most unique Halloween events in Singapore. And yes, you can even pay for your tickets using the new SG Culture Pass.

What to expect at Haw Ror Villa 4!

3 scare zones with a dark cult storyline

Unlike the usual jump-scare mazes that usually rely on fictional tales and myths, Haw Ror Villa blends real history with spine-chilling folklore. This year’s edition takes things further, weaving in an ominous cult narrative that will unfold across 3 immersive zones:

Zone 1: Infiltrating The Heart of The Sanctum

Step into the shoes of an urban explorer who discovers that a mysterious cult has set up headquarters inside Haw Par Villa. Rumours of “Asian horror of horrors” hang heavy in the air, but you’ve got no choice but to investigate. Think abandoned buildings, creepy rituals, and lots of reasons to run.

Zone 2: The Villa Has Eyes II – An interactive ghostly guided tour

Fans of last year’s “The Villa Has Eyes” will get a sequel. You’ll return as a detective to solve a lingering murder mystery linked to the Aw brothers, the park’s founders. This time, the case ties directly to the cult haunting Haw Par Villa, and you’ll need to interrogate spirits from the past to uncover the truth.

Zone 3: The Forbidden Ritual – Puzzle hunt in Hell’s Museum

For those who love a challenge, Zone 3 will test both your courage and your brains. As a grieving husband, you’re tempted into performing a ritual to reunite with your deceased wife. To do so, you must hunt for sacred totems inside Hell’s Museum while dodging angry spirits and keeping your soul intact.

More than just jump scares – Exhibitions & creepy coffin experience

Besides the scare zones, visitors can check out a special exhibition on the connections between the 7th Lunar Month and the 10 Courts of Hell, tracing how different Asian religions and philosophies intersect. Admission here is free.

For the extra brave, there’s also the Rebirthing Experience Room where you can literally lie in a coffin. Inspired by Thai and Korean traditions, this ritual is said to help purge bad karma and start fresh – if you can get over the chills of being shut inside.

And of course, there’ll be Halloween-themed snacks and drinks across the park to fuel your night of fright.

Why is 2025’s edition of Haw Ror Villa a must-visit?

Here’s the bittersweet part: this will be the final edition of Haw Ror Villa. After this year, the cults, ghosts, and guided horrors will take their last bow, making 2025 your final chance to scream your way through the park’s gates as you catch the well-designed haunted houses and fabulous scare actors.

It’s also a milestone for Hell’s Museum, which celebrates its 4th birthday this October. The museum, famous for its one-of-a-kind exhibitions on death and the afterlife, will be joining in the festivities with a creepy birthday bash.
