When it comes to curing hunger pangs on the Little Red Dot, you can’t really go wrong with a trusty plate of chicken rice. As such, make a beeline for Jew Kit Hainanese Chicken Rice when you’ve got a craving for the iconic dish. It’s a renowned chicken rice restaurant which has humble beginnings as a hawker stall in Bukit Batok over 2 decades ago.

Even if you’re not crazy about cars, there’s plenty of delicious reasons to stop by Café Carrera by Baker & Cook. In case you didn’t know, it’s a posh cafe opened by the German automobile manufacturer Porsche in collaboration with Baker & Cook, a homegrown cafe chain.

Here, motorheads and caffeine addicts alike can enjoy bakes like delicate cakes accented with the car brand’s iconic logo, along with brews like a good ol’ flat white. Since the cafe is also part of a Porsche showroom, feel free to ogle at, or heck, even step behind the wheels of one of their supercars as you refuel with your meals.
