Late-night things to do in KL
There’s no doubt that Singaporeans love travelling to Kuala Lumpur (KL) for a getaway during long weekends and holidays.
Unlike JB, which is more convenient for us to visit, going to KL requires a fair bit of travelling. This means you should make full use of your time there, especially for those who drove for 5-6 hours or took a bus up to KL. While you’ve got your day plans covered, here are the best things to do in KL at night.

How to travel around KL at night
Renting a car is a great way to cover lots of ground if you want to maximise your time exploring KL after dark. Alternatively, if you don’t have a licence or know you’ll be hardcore partying, Grab is great for convenient point-to-point rides around the city.
For budget-friendly options, the Go KL City Bus provides free rides on various routes within the city, with some routes operating until midnight, though the bus schedule may vary.
1. Food Bazaar

Food Bazaar has 3 outlets in KL, including its latest opening at TRX. While the food is good across all outlets, the one at TRX is where it’s at if you are hoping to feast and snap some IG-worthy pictures. It has an al fresco dining area that’s filled with neon lights and displays you can pose next to.

Within each outlet, they have tons of vendors that will leave you spoilt for choice. Stalls here offer local favourites like Ipoh Hor Fun (from RM11.50), as well as international cuisines such as Korean, Western, and Japanese just to name a few. Must-try dishes people have raved about on Google are their Satay (from RM10.90) and the Laksa Sarawak (RM12).
2. Supreme Cosmic Bowl

Supreme Cosmic Bowl is a great spot to chill and play games with the whole family. The glow from the neon lights that deck out the space gives the interior a futuristic yet relaxing vibe.
A round of glow-in-the-dark bowling costs RM20/pax on the weekdays and RM25/pax on the weekends. And while you wait for your turn, you can chill at their spacious neon lounge with comfy seats.

Other than bowling, there is also an arcade area with darts, pool, and air hockey. Plus, if you get peckish, finger foods like fries and chicken nuggets are available.
3. Cove Circuit
Esports & racing simulators
The F1 season might be over but that doesn’t mean the racing action has to stop there. Enjoy simulated racing at Cove Circuit, which also doubles as a haven for PC and console gamers. The neon lights on the walls make for the perfect gaming room feel that will help you lock in when playing.

The rate for Simracing starts from RM15/hr for 1 person. To get 2 controllers for the gaming console, the rate is RM20/hr. As for computer gaming, it is only available at their Bandar Sunway outlet for just RM5/hr with a minimum usage of 2 hours.
Note that there is a slight difference in price between the 2 outlets.
4. Thai Paradise Spa
Relax with a massage
Thai Paradise Spa is a massage parlour that opens till 5am, so you can get a massage even after you’ve finished partying or eating supper. They offer 14 different services here, from various types of massages to facials, and manicures.

Other than the usual Traditional Thai Massage (RM200/hr) or Aromatherapy Massage (RM200/hr), Thai Paradise Spa has a 4-Hand (RM400/hr) and 6-Hand Massage (RM600/hr) with 2 or 3 masseuses working on you respectively. This could be an option to consider if you have too many knots in your muscles.
5. Sunway Lagoon Night Park
Amusement park with wild rides & performances
Sunway Lagoon is well known for being a favourite spot to bring the whole fam to for a day trip. The amusement park is so popular because it houses more than 80 attractions across 7 different parks. It’s worth spending after hours at the park because they have a Night Park you don’t want to miss.

The Sunway Lagoon Night Park looks like a mini cowboy town and has many Wild West-themed rides and attractions. Some things to look forward to here are the fire shows that occur at 9pm daily at the Red Indian Village, and the Grand Canyon River Rapid ride.

6. kyō Kuala Lumpur

One of the more popular clubs that come alive at night in KL is kyō, an underground nightclub located inside the Mandarin Oriental Hotel.
Generally, the genre of music here is a good mix of pop, hip-hop, and techno.
The club invites guest DJs from all over the world to perform, with names like Kid Ink manning the DJ booth. Occasionally, the club attracts big celebs like Jackson Wang to join in on the action.
For those who want to open a table at the club, it will cost you around RM1,300, which gets you a table with sofa seats and 2 bottles of liquor. Otherwise, you can just get their shooters (from RM35), cocktails (from RM45), and beers (from RM25).
There are some spots perfect for pictures with your friends, so snap the pics before it gets too crowded.

7. Royal Superstar Karaoke

The grand, exaggerated decor at Royal Superstar Karaoke will make you feel like royalty as you sing your lungs out with your besties. Choose from various rooms based on your group size and preferred decor. And don’t worry if you lose track of time as this karaoke spot is open till 6am.

Despite its atas interior, the prices won’t break the bank. A 3-hour session here costs just RM12.90/pax and even comes with free-flow drinks. If all the singing gets you hungry, you can order Japanese dishes to eat in the room.
8. Kota Damansara Driving Range
Practice putting till 3am
When you hear golf, you might have the impression that it’s a rich man’s sport. While golfing can get pricey, you can still improve your putting skills and battle it out with your friends at Kota Damansara Driving Range.
Here, a golf club rental is RM5 and 50 golf balls go for just RM8.
For newbies, just have fun and give it your best shot. But if you want to challenge yourself, you can aim to surpass the different distance makers on the range.
9. Gravybaby
British food & pub
A popular supper spot in KL is Gravybaby with 3 outlets around the area. It’s a restaurant and a pub all in one place, serving up British classics like Sausage & Mash (RM36) and Fish & Chips (from RM41).

The vibes here are immaculate with its bright interior and friendly staff. Other than British cuisine, their huge menu also has Italian, Mexican, and Indian fare to suit everyone’s preferences.

One thing you have to try here is their signature Gravybaby pies. If you’ve ever been to England, you’ll know how popular savoury pies are. Get your fix here, with 6 different fillings to boot, for just RM28. Fillings range from a creamy fish stew to slow-cooked steak.

10. The River of Life & Saloma Bridge

The River of Life in KL comes to life at night with glowing blue lights and fog, highlighting the beauty of the water. The place looks magical as if you’ve been transported to another world. It is a wonderful place to photograph.

Similarly, Saloma Bridge also brightens up once the sun goes down. Not only has this bridge made it more convenient to move between Kampung Baru and KLCC, but it has also added to KL’s beautiful nightscape.
With its design inspired by the Sireh Junjung, a betel leaf arrangement, it is truly a sight to behold. The colour and arrangements of the lights vary during festivals and celebrations so it’s something worth visiting more than once.
11. Bazaria Wangsa Maju

Bazaria Wangsa Maju is a popular night market with delicious food, unique shopping finds, and a bustling atmosphere.

It is known for its wide array of food stalls, offering a delightful mix of traditional Malay, Chinese, and Indian street foods. Other stalls here sell clothing, shoes, accessories, and affordable everyday essentials. There’s even a henna booth where you can get your hands decorated, making it an all-in-one destination for a late-night outing.
