About Pink Ribbon Walk 2014
In light of the upcoming Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, the Breast Cancer Foundation (BCF) is organizing the annual Pink Ribbon Walk to raise awareness for breast cancer.
The Breast Cancer Foundation, established in 1997, is a non-profit charity organisation that aims to eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease. Like most other cancers, breast cancer is curable if detected at an early stage. BCF hopes to spread this knowledge by raising awareness and encouraging women to screen themselves regularly, greatly increasing their chances of surviving the disease.
The Pink Ribbon Walk is a significant form of support for breast cancer survivors, and raises funds to further enhance BCF’s support group programmes and awareness outreach. The 4.1km walk promises to be a fun and healthy activity, and it gives you an opportunity to show your support and raise awareness for the breast cancer community.
Register now to receive early bird discounts for this year’s walk. That’s not all – participants will receive a goodie bag that comes with the event’s tee!
