Phu Quoc is part of Kien Giang Province and is the largest island in Vietnam with a total area of 574 square kilometers.

Boasting a population of only 103,000, a wide range of pristine beaches, and serene resorts, Phu Quoc is one of the best spots in Vietnam to swim around in the blue sea or read a good book under a tree.

From 2014, Vietnam has allowed all foreign tourists to visit Phu Quoc visa-free for a period of up to 30 days. However, due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, this policy was withdrawn earlier this year.

As Vietnam is on its track to completely eliminating COVID-19, Vietnamese government has recently issued a decree offering foreigners from approved countries 30-day visa-free travel to Phu Quoc.
