Coco Exotic is one of the best chocolate cakes I’ve had.

It’s not uncommon to see people walking around with “Four Leaves” plastic bags. There was once I counted, and within a span of 15 minutes I spotted 4 people. I was nowhere near a Four Leaves, that’s how well-patronised it is.

It’s popular for good reason too! With bread that go for an average of $1.20 per piece, the bread is cheap and satisfying. However, the true stars of the bakery are their cakes. My absolute favorite is their Coco Exotic cake. With a praline base and a rich, chocolate-y top layer complete with hazelnut notes, it’s an absolute delight that you wouldn’t expect to find at only $4.10 per piece.

The strawberry shortcake is another popular item. It is light and pleasant, not cloyingly sweet like typical shortcakes. For cakes and buns at cheap prices which do not compromise on quality, Four Leaves is the way to go!

I would say that Four Leaves is on par with Breadtalk. Their have quite a decent variety, although not so much as the Breadtalk. Their prices are quite affordable as well. I have a bakery store in my school that sells products from Four Leaves. For example, a bread the size of 2 of my palms would cost about $1.70 while a sugar donut costs $0.95. They also have special bakery products like Dorayaki ( My favourite ) for just $1. So on the days that I'm trying to save up, I would purchase a bread or two from Four Leaves and call it a day.

Their baked goods are also very soft and moist. They are just the right texture and flavor. I enjoy the breads from Four Leaves better than Breadtalk. I have never bought something from Four Leaves that tasted bad before.

Four leaves bakery is one of my most favourite bakery. Not only the tastes are good, the ingredients used contains high nutrients and fibre, it’s a good choice for all and health conscious consumers.

There are various range of pastries. Among them, the assorted mini buns are consider the most popular range. Prices are also reasonable. 1 costs 70cts, any 3 cost $1.95 & any 5 cost only $2.95. The more you buy, the cheaper it costs.

I like most of the assorted mini buns, especially ‘coffee’, ‘pepper sausage’, ‘pizza’, ‘chicken ham’ & ‘tuna’ are all my favourites. The coffee bun reminds me of the shape of UFO & the former ‘roti boy’. The coffee bun is coated with a fluffy layer, and inside is butter filing. I realized sometimes there is no butter filing and a bit dry inside. Somehow, their standard is not constant and also depend on which outlet you visit.

The white bread is also extremely fresh and soft. The quality is good and fresh that it can consume up to a week+. (keep in fridge) I would recommend their ‘Hi Cal’ white bread & ‘milk bread’ which are calcium enriched. Others include, ‘walnut slice’, ‘walnut clover’, ‘cranberry slice’ & ‘cranberry clover’ are highly recommended too.
