Zplus KTV in Orchard

Ask the average Singaporean on one of their favourite nighttime activities, and chances are; it’s hitting karaoke studios in Singapore. Well, now you can do that for cheap as ZPlus KTV is offering karaoke sessions starting from $1/hour per person from 15th-30th September 2024.

What you need to know about ZPlus KTV’s opening promotion

As part of ZPlus KTV’s grand opening, they are offering karaoke sessions starting from just $1/hour per person during certain hours of the day. This deal will run from 15th-30th September, so you have till the end of the month to make your way down.

Day Time Rates
Sun-Thurs 1pm-6pm $1/hour per person
Sun-Thurs 6pm-9pm $5/hour per person

To qualify, you’ll need just 1 kind soul among your group to sign up for their membership ($19/year). The membership grants you access to a slew of perks such as:

  • 1 free fruit platter (worth $15)
  • 1 free popcorn (worth $6)
  • 3 free 1-hour karaoke sessions for future visits; given in the form of vouchers
  • Special birthday perks

Just note that this deal is not valid on Fridays, and that it can only be used for a maximum of 2 hours. That is still a steal though, as a regular 2-hour session will cost you at least $69 for a maximum of 6 peeps, amounting to $5.75/hour per person. This means that you will save nearly $5, which is a lot in today’s economy, and even enough to buy cheap dishes under $3.

Belt out tunes in their futuristic sci-fi-themed karaoke rooms

Upon entering you will come across a receptionist desk that’s lit up in neon blue, so right at the start, the place has already passed the vibe check. Heck, there’s even a sleek blue Tron-inspired bike at the end of the corridor. Feel free to take as many pics as you want with it for the Gram’.

Each of their 17 karaoke rooms embody cool space themes.

Mind you, this ain’t no ordinary KTV spot too, as all of their karaoke rooms are space-themed. From neon-lit rooms, futuristic looking interiors, and chamfered doors, you’ll feel like you’ve stepped into the set of a sci-fi series such as Star Trek or Star Wars, which was the main inspiration for the place.

Now, as for the actual karaoke experience, know that you are in good hands. Each room is decked out with customised German audio systems and microphones. This means that even if you’re hard of hearing, you’ll have no problem being able to register all the English karaoke songs, down to the last T.

Plus, the TV screens are not only high-res, but huge, as they go all the way up to 225 inches, so it’s impossible for you to miss out on the subtitles as you sing along with your buddies.

The circular table gives a different spin from the usual game of pool.

Take a break from all that singing to their round pool tables for a game of billard. Unfortunately, the pool tables aren’t in every single karaoke room, but you can request for a room with one upon registration. The kind staff will gladly assist with your request, subject to availability.

Refuel with some finger food & fruit platters

Belting out all your favourite karaoke songs may leave your throat parched, and stomach rumbling. Refuel with the complimentary fruit platter (from $15) and popcorn (from $6) before going back in for round 2.

Should that still not be enough to tame that appetite of yours, you can order any of their platters or snacks. Their Fried Platter B (from $39) can easily be shared amongst 6 people. But if you’re looking for a solo meal, the Birthday Pasta (from $15) comes with juicy shrimps atop hearty strands of spaghetti bolognese.

You and your buddies can wash all that down with their Honey Grapefruit Tea jug (from $16). Sweet tooths can end their meal with some ice cream for dessert. Choose from well-known brands like Ben & Jerry’s (from $7), Cornette (from $4) and Magnum (from $5).
