Restaurants with a view are aplenty, but what often takes a date to the next level is a little bit of a surprise. For all those tired of struggling to book a slot at popular cafes and restaurants, how about dinner on a yacht to impress your boo?
Folks looking for a unique dining experience can now enjoy a BBQ dinner aboard a cosy yacht with YachtCruiseSG. Of course, this comes topped with a sweeping view of the sunset for that extra oomph.

It’s not every day we get to hop on a yacht, but once you do, you’d want to max out the experience with something that goes beyond “sit on the boat lor”. Departing on a 2.5-hour route from Sentosa Cove’s ONE°15 Marina and looping around the Southern Islands is YachtCruiseSG’s Sunset City Skyline Dinner Cruise.

Other than getting stunning vistas of the mainland during sunset, you’ll be served with a BBQ dinner on board with sizzling nosh prepared by the crew. Cooked on the spot to enjoy piping-hot are beef and chicken skewers, prawns and hot dogs – but these may vary depending on the day.

It’s not all barbecued items either. Look forward to local dishes like kung pao chicken, fried rice and sweet and sour fish so you can expect to go home stuffed.

For just the BBQ dinner, the price for each ticket is $119 – this comes with a free flow of packet and canned drinks. Top up an extra $30 to upgrade to free-flow champagne and house wine.
You don’t always have to go to Australia, Japan or Korea to feel like you’re on a holiday – take a yacht out to both feel and literally be “overseas”. Puns aside, wave goodbye to boring dinners and dive into a new experience with this Sunset City Skyline Dinner Cruise.
According to YachtCruiseSG, the boat can take anywhere from six to 12 people per trip but may vary with safe distancing restrictions – be sure to double-check this with the crew when making your booking via WhatsApp.
Reservations for the yacht are open for 6PM and 8.30PM on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Sundays and public holidays. Go for the earlier time slot if you want a sunset view and the latter if stargazing is more your cup of tea.
