ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove: Dreamy Staycation With Sea-Facing Balconies & Infinity Pool

ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove

The notion of going on a staycation is a strong one for us office folks who are more than happy to burn a bunch of ALs for a quick getaway. Plus, it goes without saying that the more “overseas vibes” a hotel exudes, the better – and none come as close to taking you away to an Aussie beach town than ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove.

With vibes reminiscent of Gold Coast or Darling Harbour, Sentosa Cove is home to some of the most luxurious houses in Singapore. In the heart of it, is ONE°15 – a prestigious marina, Asia’s finest in fact, for the crazy rich Asians to stow their yachts.

What might come as a surprise to most folks is that despite being a private yacht club, its accommodation and restaurants are open to the public. To top it all off, the prices here are surprisingly inexpensive  – at least for Sentosa – for being smack in the middle of Luxury Central. Rates begin from $232/night for both members and non-members though, remember to check their offer page to snag the occasional deal!

There are 26 nautical-themed rooms within the club. Right on the waterfront are their Marina View Rooms that face the cove, with spacious balconies angled marvellously to catch the sunrise in the morning. Around 35SQM large, standard rooms here are already larger than the average Singapore hotel.

Expect everything you need for a weekend of pampering here in their bathroom fitted with a large sunken bathtub and bathroom TV. Each toilet also comes with a rejuvenating rain shower to relax under after spending a day out on the island.

If a regular bathtub still doesn’t do it for ya, consider the Monte Carlo Suite II which comes with a jacuzzi tub facing the balcony to celebrate your next special occasion. Prices for the luxurious and spacious 54SQM room begin from $625/night.

Infinity pool, tennis court & playroom

These days, infinity pools are the way to go – all the better if they’re by the sea. ONE°15’s offers a view of the marina from its lap pool with a glass wall. Laze your day away by floating in the water, or get a good tan on one of the many daybeds dotted around the area.

In between relaxing in your room with a view and lounging by the pool, squeeze some time to visit the gym with floor to ceiling windows facing the marina as well. They’ve got enough treadmills for everyone, a boxing area and plenty of weights to keep those biceps in check.

And if tottling on the treadmill isn’t your idea of a good holiday, tennis courts are also available, alongside bike rentals from $8/hour to explore the surrounding area. There’s also a kid’s play area and arcade for the little ones to exhaust some of that limitless energy.

Attractions in the area

Fancy facilities aside, what’s got to be the kicker for most is the unique ambience and nearby attractions of the area. While other hotels flaunt proximity to highly popular attractions, the whole ONE°15 Marina area channels serious lepak energy for a lazy day of relaxation.

Within a 10 minute’s walk from the hotel is Quayside Isle – home to many bars and restaurants illuminated with glimmering fairy lights once the sun sets. In close proximity is also the “floating” Boaters’ Bar, Cold Storage and a 24H 7-Eleven in case you need any midnight snacks.

P.S. You can also use your $100 SingapoRediscovers vouchers if you book via Global Tix, Klook, Traveloka and Trip.com.
