Wild Wild Wet Songkran Festival 2025
Thailand’s popular Songkran Festival is happening real soon, and if you haven’t got flight tickets to The Land of Smiles next month, you’ll be glad to hear that you can still take part in splashin’ fun festivities right here in SG.
From 15th March-14th April 2025, Wild Wild Wet will be hosting Songkran Festival 2025, which – true to their name – promises a tonne of wet and wild activities for the entire fam to enjoy. These include everything from exciting water fights and vibey DJ sets to outdoor screenings of family-friendly flicks like Moana and Finding Dory. Here’s the full rundown:
Splash around at Water Fight Zones & Dunk Tanks
Blasting our friends with Nerf water guns is probably a core childhood memory for a lot of us. If you think you’ve still got some game in you, it’s time to relive nostalgic childhood memz at Wild Wild Wet’s Water Fight Zones.
What makes this zone even better is that it’s located on a giant inflatable maze, which you’ll have to navigate during battle.
If you’ve got kiddos, they’re sure to enjoy this too – active youngins will love bouncing around while trying their hand at operating spray guns. Just take note that the Nerf Super Soakers will only be provided within the confines of the maze.
That’s not all though – those with perfect aim can show off their sharp-shooter skills at the Dunk Tank, where you’ll get to dunk your pals with every bulls-eye.
Watch Muay Thai demo matches
If you’re up for some live action fighting, there’ll also be Muay Thai demo matches and Wai Kru ritual showcases at the park.
Here, visitors can anticipate a whole lot of kicking, punching, and swift dodging as Muay Thai professionals showcase their best martial arts moves. Each performance also begins with a Wai Kru ritual, a traditional Thai ritual where students pay respects to their teachers.
Jam out to Thai-themed music nights
What’s Songkran without a lit music set, amiright? On 22nd March and 12th April, the water park will also be extending its opening hours to 9pm for 2 Thai-themed music nights, where you’ll be able to bust your best moves to popular Thai songs.
In particular, award-winning Thai Singer Keng Tachaya, the first runner-up of The Voice Thailand, will be making an appearance on the 22nd to deliver fun performances with his dance crew.
And for more exciting performances, there’ll also be traditional Thai dance showcases on 22nd March and 12th April at 12pm and 3pm.
Enjoy free sunset movie screenings
Alongside the music nights, there’ll also be movie screenings happening on the same days, from 7pm-9pm on 22nd March and 12th April. At the screenings, the water park will be showing 2 crowd-fave family movies: Moana on the 22nd, and Finding Dory on the 12th.
While the young and young at heart enjoy the outdoor films, older kids can enjoy live music with DJ sets peppered throughout the evening from 6pm-9pm. BTW, complimentary LED candy floss and popcorn will be handed out while stocks last – so if you want these colourful freebies as some movie munchies and aesthetic IG shots as you vibe to beat, be sure to head down earlier to snag them.
