Waterway Point Shoppers Can Win Prizes Like An Overnight Camping Experience & Trip To Bali

Waterway Point Transformers event

Summer is upon us, and blockbusters are coming in hotter than microwaved chicken nuggets. One of which is TRANSFORMERS: Rise of the Beasts. And if you’ve been with this series for the last 6 movies, you’ll know this 7th sequel is gonna be equally epic.

But we’re here to tell you something that you probably didn’t know. From now till 25th June 2023, there’ll be a whole lot of Transformers-themed events set to kick off at Waterway Point. From an overnight camping experience to photo ops with a giant Optimus Prime statue, here’s everything you can look forward to during the June holidays.

Snap pics with 2m-tall Optimus Prime

You won’t have to make a trip to Cybertron to meet Optimus Prime anytime soon. Just head to Waterway Point to snap unlimited pics with the friendly red and blue giant.

Between now and 7th June, a massive 2m-tall Optimus Prime statue stands merrily at Village Square on level 1. On the off chance that you miss the window, swing by again from 15th-25th June to catch the Autobot leader at The Cove at Basement 2 (West Wing).

There’ll be no explosions or battleships, just a series of truck transformers begging to be photographed.

Score overnight camping experience & Bali trip

A trip to Waterway Point is about to send you home with mad DIY skills and major robot-themed goodies.

Between 1st-3rd June, novice tinkerers and pro DIY-ers alike will get to build a bot from recycled materials, as well as decorate cupcakes with icing, sprinkles, and robot toppings. The latter will be taking place from 4th-7th June. Each workshop will run for an hour between 12.30pm-1.30pm, 2.30pm-3.30pm, and 4.30-5.30pm.

From 9th-25th June, dance and face painting sessions are also set to draw a crowd. So if breaking out into choreographed routines while strutting a Bumblebee-inspired makeup look is your thing, don’t miss it.

Check out the official merchandise while you’re there.

All you gotta do is spend a minimum of $30 at the stores to secure free passes* for the workshops. For every $30 spent on a single receipt, you’ll also be entered into a lucky draw with up to $20,000 worth of prizes to be given out. Goodies to look forward to include a trip to Bali for 4 people and an OSIM uThrone V Gaming massage chair from the Transformers Beast series.

FYI, with a minimum purchase of $120 at Sports & Leisure, Fashion & Accessories, or Books & Stationery stores, you’ll be able to nab a $10 voucher** to be used at places like A-One Signature, Cotton On Kids, and Starbucks.
