Waterway Point Christmas events 2023
We’re finally on the home stretch for Christmas. While you’re waiting for the fridge to be filled with turkey and ham leg, you’re probably looking for ways to kickstart the festivities early.
If you don’t know where to start, no biggie. Below, we’ve gathered all the intel on one of the most jolly Christmas parties in town at Waterway Point. They’ve got an outdoor synthetic ice skating rink, Christmas carollers, live bands, a snow show, and even a free Honda Shuttle Hybrid up for grabs.
Slide across ice at the outdoor ice skating rink
It’s about time you pay a visit to the outdoor ice skating rink at Waterway Point.

Opening from 5th-10th December 2023, the rink has a vast surface for all levels and abilities. You’ll find pros flexing their twists and turns, first-timers slipping and tumbling, and even seniors who’ll be able to slide across the ice on an adaptive ski snap-on.
A spin on the synthetic sheet of ice will cost you $10 which comes with free skate rentals and skating aids so you won’t have to lug heavy equipment around. Each session runs for 30 minutes and consists of a safety briefing prior to you getting in the rink.
Catch Christmas carollers & live bands
Get ready for banging Christmas tunes from the carollers and live bands at Waterway Point.
From now till 24th December, you can catch both holiday classics and modern Christmas mixes every Friday, Saturday, and Christmas Eve. They’ll be presented by children and adult carollers, as well as a 2-piece live band and a group of Latin performers. As an added bonus, the shows are free for all. Find them at B2, The Cove and B1, The Plaza.
Catch Wonka on the big screen from 6th December onwards.
From now till 27th December, you can also snap some shots with a whimsical Willy Wonka setup at B2, The Cove. Or, secure a selfie with a giant Migration inflatable in anticipation of the blockbuster – which was produced by the same folks behind hits like Minion and The Secret Life of Pets – hitting the screens.
The blowup will be around until 7th January 2024, so you have plenty of time. If you happen to be at the mall on 2nd December, make sure you get your hands on free balloons and exclusive chocolates from Wonka.
Frolic in snow at Waterway Point this Christmas 2023
It’s looking a lot like Christmas at Waterway Point now that there’s snow involved.
Every weekend from now till 31st December, a snow show is set to kick off every hour between 12pm-8pm. Each show lasts for 15 minutes and takes place near the 5m-tall Christmas tree at B1, The Plaza, where you’ll also find ice skaters and a choo choo train. For those stunning snow-dusted pics, head to Waterway Point.
