Where To Watch Premier League & FIFA World Cup Matches For Free In SG, From CC Screenings To Sports Bars

Watch football matches for free in Singapore

The Premier League countdown is on with the season set to conclude in early May, but the game’s far from over. FIFA World Cup 2026 is just around the corner, and the Premier League has also recently announced a brand-new streaming service launching in Singapore next season.

With so many matches to keep up with, juggling pricey subscriptions can be a headache. So here’s a breakdown of where to watch football matches for free in Singapore without breaking the bank.

1. Bishan Community Club

It feels like yesterday when the Lion City Sailors made history by advancing to the AFC Champions League Two final for the 1st time, cheered on by a chorus of “Ole Allez Allez” as hundreds of residents gathered in Bishan Community Club (CC) to watch the match.

BTW, the Lions have also qualified for the Asian Cup, with the next match against Bangladesh happening at the National Stadium on 31st March 2026.

If you missed your chance to get a front seat on the action, don’t worry – you can still catch other matches, such as the English Premier League (EPL) match between Man United and Aston Villa at the CC’s open plaza on 15th March 2026, from 10pm-11.30pm. Seats are limited with priority given to Bishan East-Sin Ming residents, so be sure to register early.

Bishan CC is also a go-to spot for football fanatics; it regularly hosts free screenings, having previously screened EPL matches between Man United and Arsenal in August and September 2025.

Stay up-to-date on the next screenings through Bishan CC’s Facebook.

3. mewatch

Stream select World Cup matches without hefty subscription fees

On your usual MRT Reddit scroll sessions, you might have seen die-hard football enthusiasts complaining about the pain of paying StarHub subscription fees just to catch a Premier League match. But before you start resorting to VPNs or sailing the high seas, Mediacorp has you covered.

They’ve acquired the media rights to the FIFA World Cup 2026 and other FIFA-licensed tournaments. You’ll be able to subscribe to their on-demand video streaming service and watch the World Cup – mostly – for free on mewatch.

While you’ll need to pay for total coverage of all the matches, Mediacorp is promising to substantially expand free coverage of the tournament on mewatch and Channel 5 to help you get your football fix without being completely locked behind a paywall.

28 of the total 104 matches will be free-to-air on mewatch, including the Opening Match between Mexico and South Africa, 23 Group Stage matches, 2 Semi-Finals, the Third-Place Playoff, and the Final.

Pricing has yet to be confirmed for subscriptions, but during the FIFA World Cup 2022, a mewatch subscription to catch all 64 matches started from $98, and rose to $118 after their early bird promotion ended.

ST3PS is a 188sqm, amphitheatre-style communal space fitted with an ultra-high-definition 6m by 3.5m LED screen. Talk about an upgrade from your home TV.

5. Our Tampines Hub

Community sports hub with appearances by famous international players

Home to the Tampines Rovers Football Club, Our Tampines Hub (OTH) is a hotspot for football watchers and players alike. Besides serving as a makeshift theatre for screening Premier League matches, the Level 1 Festive Plaza also houses the Festive Arts Theatre, a 400-seat venue that has previously hosted star-studded football exhibitions featuring English Premier League legends and Singapore national team players.

You say you support local, but OTH takes it to another level. They’ve consistently featured homegrown talent, airing the Tampines Rovers’ face-off against Bangkok United in the 1st leg of the AFC Champions League Two Quarter-Finals, and serving as the central venue for Singapore Premier League (SPL) matches last year.

Fun fact: Champions League star players Borussia Dortmund and 1990 World Cup Winner  Karl-Heinz Riedle recently paid a visit to OTH in a meet-and-greet session. A lucky giveaway winner even got to walk away with exclusive prizes, including a signed Dortmund jersey. Guess that’s another point for the Easties.

Keep up with new updates on screenings and in-house events via OTH’s Facebook.

BONUS: ARFC

Football-themed restaurant founded by Manchester United legends

This isn’t your typical sports bar. Established by former Manchester United stars Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs, and previously known as Cafe Football, ARFC has been a long-time favourite among footie fans since 2017. Football watch parties have been a staple for the restaurant-cum-football club across its 2 outlets at Woodleigh and East Coast Park.

Customers can walk in without reservations to catch a game as long as viewing sessions haven’t been fully booked. No minimum spend is required, except for midnight matches.

Upcoming screenings include the Manchester United vs Aston Villa match on 15th March 2026 at 10pm at both outlets, and the Liverpool vs Spurs match at ARFC Woodleigh on 16th March 2026 at 12.30am. Take note that you’ll need reservations for the latter, and there’s a minimum spend of $30.

Beyond the Premier League series, they’ve also spotlighted the Football Association Challenge Cup fixtures featuring Chelsea, Arsenal, Man United, Liverpool, Mansfield Town, West Ham, Bournemouth, and Sunderland.

You can even book a 7-a-side football pitch at their Woodleigh outlet for a quick warm-up game. Otherwise, head down earlier to try their mains, enjoy their happy hour available until 7pm, and tune into live performances.

As ARFC is one of the more active screeners on this list, it’s a good idea to follow their Instagram or Facebook so you never miss out.
