Voices At Esplanade Is Having Workshops To Up Your Singing Game & An Open Karaoke To Sabo Your Friends

Singing festival at Esplanade

For those of us who are self-conscious about exposing our singing – or screeching – to the world, karaoke sessions are more often than not a breeding ground for embarrassing stories. And since expensive singing classes are out of the question, most of us would rather make the best of our banshee voices.

But good news: at this year’s Voices At Esplanade, you can attend singing classes and music production workshops to bring your musicality up a notch for just $5! Happening from the 8th-10th December, you can also enjoy a line up of free live performances and participate in an open karaoke event regardless of whether you have the voice of Whitney Houston or William Hung:

– WORKSHOPS & ACTIVITIES –

1. Keep calm and K-on at this open karaoke

Image adapted from: Esplanade

Rather than cooping yourselves up in a little private karaoke room, jio your k-box squad to Keep Calm And K-On and unleash your inner pop star while singing along – for FREE! – with over 60,000 tunes to choose from.

Bask in your 4-minutes of fame on Esplanade’s Waterfront Canopy stage or sabo your friends into doing so. And since this event goes ‘til midnight, you can summon up some Dutch courage with a fair few drinks before taking the stage!

Dates and times: 8th December 2017, 6PM – 12AM | 9th – 10th December 2017, 5PM – 12AM
Venue: Esplanade Waterfront Canopy
Cost: Free
