There’s no shortage of themed playgrounds in Singapore. There’s the iconic dragon one in Toa Payoh and the one at Admiralty Park that has 26 slides.
Rarely, however, would you find a movie-themed one. Well, get your inner child ready because there’s an Alice in Wonderland-themed playground in Woodlands. Here’s what you’ll find at Vista Park:
This playground will let your kids have your main character moments as Alice. Dress your young ones up in their best cosplay outfits then get ready to pose with the many references to Wonderland. We spotted the smiling Cheshire Cat, Caterpillar, sprouting mushrooms, and larger-than-life playing cards to immerse you in the fantasy world.
For those who aren’t up for taking pics, there are, of course, many elements to play with. Tire out your toddlers with the pink and blue structures they can climb in and out of. Older ones, on the other hand, can practice their spidey senses with the spiral webs.
Meanwhile, there’ll nary be anyone – kid or adult – who’ll be able to pass up the chance to swing on the swing sets. There’s even a giant metal slide on which the whole fam can slide down together.
Adults who need a break between running after the kids will be able to find lots of shaded spots to rest under. Although, if you think you’ve still got stamina, challenge yourself at the fitness corner, where the exercise machines have charging ports for smartphones. Just plug in your device and start pedalling to juice up your phone.
For those staying in the North, this is just one more to add to the list of things to do in Marsiling-Woodlands. Not only do you get whimsical characters to snap photos with, but you’ll also get an environmentally-friendly workout to power your tech.
P.S. This isn’t the only Alice in Wonderland-themed playground in Singapore. Westies can visit Queenstown to see other characters like Tweedledum and pretend to have a cuppa at the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party climbing wall at the Queenstown Alice in Wonderland playground.
Getting here: From Woodlands South MRT station, walk 8 minutes to Woodlands Drive 16.
