1. Fruity Granita

We went with Yuzu Green Tea, which gave us a delightfully sweet and citrusy granita combo that thoroughly refreshed our souls.

Directions:

  1. Pour out MARIGOLD UJI CHA as required. Add honey and lemon juice; stir to combine.
  2. Pour mixture into an 8-inch square baking dish. Cover and freeze.
  3. Remove tea mixture from freezer; scrape with a fork until fluffy.
  4. Serve with toppings of your choice!

2. Ice Popsicles

Many 90s kids would have memories of sucking on sng bao/ice pops as children. But not many know how easy it is to recreate these nostalgia-inducing desserts in your own kitchen!

Combine MARIGOLD UJI CHA with blueberries for an ice popsicle dessert that’s loaded with toxin-neutralising antioxidants to boost your immune system. Switch up the amounts of ingredients depending on how you want your popsicles to taste!

Directions:

  1. Fill popsicle holders with MARIGOLD UJI CHA and blueberries.
  2. Freeze 8 hours or until firm.

Again, you’ll need to be patient as the mixture freezes. But you’ll have a sweet treat to look forward to later, minus the expanding waistline.

3. Konnyaku Jelly

Konnyaku jelly was once all the rage in Singapore, but just like every other food trend, the hype inevitably died down after a while. Now, the artistic use konnyaku jelly to create edible art, but the less Picasso-like amongst us can still chow down on those firm, yet strangely chewy jellies.

Directions:

  1. Follow the instructions on the jelly package, replacing water with MARIGOLD UJI CHA.
  2. Throw in whatever toppings you want to up your Konnyaku Jelly game, like honey, wolfberries, or nata de coco!

End result: a combination of flavours and textures for QQ goodness that practically explodes in your mouth.

4. Mar-Tea-Ni

Lemon juice, ginger, pomegranate seeds, and pomegranate juice go into this mar-tea-ni, and while it won’t dupe your tastebuds into thinking it’s alcohol, it still makes for a refreshing afternoon pick-me-up.

Pro tip: Use Momo Green Tea for this! The hints of peach give it a sweetness that balance out the tangy pomegranate and lemon juices.

Directions:

  1. Mix pomegranate seeds, lemon juice, ginger, ice cubes, MARIGOLD UJI CHA, and pomegranate juice in a cocktail shaker, or improvise with a water bottle.
  2. Shake well and strain into a glass.
  3. (Optional) Garnish with Tulsi leaves so it looks extra legit!
