All 29 ActiveSG Gyms In Singapore By Location, With Unique Facilities & Equipment Revealed

ActiveSG gyms in Singapore

Remember the Circuit Breaker era where everyone was working out at home and trying to get abs? As we transition back to office life, it seems like our chances of becoming fitspo are slimmer than ever. Factoring in the time spent at work, commuting, and our general shag-ness after knocking off, buying an expensive gym membership can often feel like a complete waste of money.

With locations scattered all over Singapore and the lowest pay-per-use prices, ActiveSG gyms are your best bet when it comes to working on your fitness. Here are all 29 ActiveSG gyms in Singapore sorted by location, including the different facilities and equipment at each branch.

What are ActiveSG gyms?

Despite the different facilities available, the rates to enter are the same across all ActiveSG gyms:

  • Singaporeans/PRs: $2.50
  • Students/Seniors: $1.50
  • Foreigners: $3.30

Not only are the prices as cheap as your daily morning
kopi, Singaporeans can even get $100 ActiveSG credits when they sign up for a free membership using SingPass. Beyond just hitting the gym, these credits can be used to book ActiveSG facilities such as badminton courts, fields to have a round of soccer with your mates, and even BBQ pits.

All ActiveSG gyms have the following basic equipment and facilities to fit every workout routine, suited to gym-goers with different experience levels and fitness goals:

  • Cardio machines
  • Free weights
  • Stacked weights
  • Resistance machines
  • Showers
  • Lockers

Keep an eye out for special classes held at the various gyms, from aqua spin and Piloxing (pilates combined with boxing) to belly dancing and K-pop cardio routines. The schedules are constantly being updated, so visit the ActiveSG programmes listing or your chosen gym’s Facebook page for more information.

1. Ang Mo Kio CC – Elderly-friendly equipment

When we think of workouts for the elderly, we usually imagine them doing group tai chi or brisk walking in parks – not sweating it out alongside us in the gym. Thanks to age-inclusive equipment available in the ActiveSG Gym at Ang Mo Kio CC, the rare sighting of an ah ma lifting weights might become more of a common occurrence.

The special HUR machines – which are equipped with smart technology –  found in this gym use air resistance instead of traditional weights, which reduces stress on the joints.
