Those looking to shed off the extra calories gained over CNY’s hotpots and bak kwa binges can try to tackle the new Eastern Corridor cycling trail. Although the 18km-long route might seem daunting, it’s not too bad even for novice cyclists – at least according to our colleague who’s had the pleasure of traversing the whole thing.
The trail will take roughly 3 hours to complete from end to end, taking you from Pasir Ris Park to East Coast Park.
The trail is interspersed with various rest stops, which include a Sheng Siong supermarket and various hawker centres along the way, in case you’d like to stock up on liquids. For your efforts, you’ll be rewarded with a pair of well-defined legs, along with picturesque views of spots like Tampines Eco Green and Bedok Reservoir.
