Singapore is always warm, but it’s the exceptionally hot and humid periods that makes us miss our winter getaways to the snowy paradise of Japan or even the A/C-like climate of Genting Highlands
For a cooling respite to escape the heat, look no further than the wintry sanctuary of our childhood: Snow City. Tickets are now going at 30% off so you can bid goodbye to sweating, and say hello to the polar climate, even if it’s just for a few hours.

Maybe you’ve been blasting the air-con, or perhaps you’ve been holding your fridge door open for an extra second or two just for that extra whiff of cold air. But nothing quite beats the sub-zero temperatures which have us happily prancing around in our thick winter jackets.

So enjoy the cold in Snow City’s perpetual -5°C temperatures where you can build a snowman, make snow angels or hurl snowballs at your friends to your heart’s content. Activities include sliding down their 60M slope on a rubber tyre without limit, as well as experiencing a magical snowfall when their snow machine ejects a flurry of snow into the air.

Young ones afraid to try out the big slopes can entertain themselves at the icy kids’ playground with a mini slide amongst ice sculptures. Else, huddle up as a family in an igloo or snap pictures at some of the photo ops dotted around the attraction.

From now till 30th September 2020, Snow City’s entry tickets are going at 30% off for Singaporeans. You’ll be looking at affordable prices from $10.50 (U.P. $15) for adults and $8.40 (U.P. $12) for children for a 1-hour play session.
To enjoy more time in the cold, 2-hour sessions are now priced from $17.50 (U.P. $25) for adults and $12.60 (U.P. $18) for children.
Before you embrace the cold, you’ll need winter wear – bring your own if you’d like to put those bulky coats lying in your storeroom to good use. Otherwise, they’ve also got complimentary winter jackets and boots you can borrow. Waterproof pants (from $23.90), gloves (from $2.20) and socks (from $2.90) are also available with extra charge.
Many of us flock to shopping malls for a day out without the scorching sun. But make use of Snow City’s promotion this August and September – it’ll make for a pretty cool day out with your friends or fam.
