There’s A Snoopy-Themed Driving Playground In Marina Square With A Drive-Thru & Car Washing Zone

VroomTown Driving City X Snoopy

VroomTown Driving City’s driving course at Marina Square might just be every CDC learner driver’s dream come true. Half driving course, half indoor playground, VroomTown Driving City is Singapore’s first drive-play playground. Its functional driving course is as real as it gets, with working traffic lights, a drive-thru, and even a car wash.

The playground is nothing new in Marina Square, but it’s recently been transformed into a Peanuts-themed driving course in celebration of Snoopy’s 75th birthday. Visitors will get to drive by recreations of iconic Peanuts scenes featuring Charlie Brown and his friends and snag exclusive Snoopy merch while they’re there.

What is VroomTown Driving City?

VroomTown Driving City is a unique indoor playground in Marina Square, featuring a driving course and playground zone with ball pits and slides. Its driving course is a replica of Singapore’s streets so kids will be driving by mini-versions of iconic landmarks as they make their rounds. Think Supertrees at Gardens by the Bay, the Merlion, and Changi Airport.

The legal driving age in Singapore may be 18 years old, but at VroomTown Driving City, anyone aged 5 and above can get behind the wheel. Kids below the age of 5 are welcome too, but they’ll need to be accompanied by a guardian or parent to enter.

You’ll find the driving playground in Marina Square, and it opens from 10am-8pm on weekdays and Sundays, and 10am-9pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

How much are tickets to VroomTown Driving City?

There are 2 passes available for visitors, with each granting 1 hour of access to the playground. On top of playground access, the Vroom Drivers Pass ($38) includes 1 parent or guardian entry, a 2-seater electric car, and a free surprise gift at the Vroom Drive-Through.

First-timers are required to purchase the Vroom Learner Pass ($49) that comes with a 10-minute basic driving and road safety lesson, an official VroomTown Photo License Card that allows them to drive in the course, and an exclusive discount if they want to celebrate their next birthday at VroomTown Driving City. Pro tip: weekend tickets will get you 2 complimentary drinks and a snack at the cafe.

It’s recommended to pre-book your slots on VroomTown’s official website or come early to snag passes since there are only limited spots available.

Can I drive if I’m an adult?

Don’t be fooled into thinking that VroomTown Driving City is just for kids. Visitors of all ages are welcome, as long as they undergo the basic driving and safety lesson and receive their VroomTown Photo License. So if you’re tired of being the passenger princess, you can finally take the wheel at their driving course – you’ll just have to pay for a Vroom Learner Pass.

What to expect at VroomTown Driving City?

You can’t miss VroomTown Driving City, not with the 3.5m-tall Snoopy sitting on top of its entrance. Be sure to snap a shot with the adorable beagle as you make your way into the playground.

The iconic Singapore landmarks are still scattered around the driving course, so you’ll feel like you’re really cruising through the city as you pass a pint-sized version of Gardens by the Bay and the Merlion.

In addition to local sights, you’ll get to say hello to popular Snoopy characters like Charlie Brown and Lucy Van Pelt. Try spotting recreations of iconic scenes, like a life-sized version of Snoopy taking a nap on his doghouse.

Kids get a first taste of adulthood at VroomTown Driving City with its driving course’s functional driving features.

For a sweet treat during your joyride, stop by the Drive-Through, where a staff member will hand over a pack of gummies to passing drivers. There’s also a cafe attached to the Drive-Through for parents to grab a snack as they’re waiting.

Don’t miss Vroom Wash, where you’ll suit up with raincoats and boots to give your electric car a wash. Nothing make-believe here – you’ll be using actual soap and water. Once your car is squeaky clean, head over to Vroom Pump, where you can recharge your speedster.

Don’t leave without stopping by the playground zone located next to the driving course. Just a heads up, visitors are required to wear non-slip socks before entering.

Be sure to swing by the playground’s Snoopy shop, where you’ll find exclusive Snoopy-themed merch like keychains, plushies, cushions, and more. If you’re lucky, characters from the Snoopy gang may drop by for a meet-and-greet, a nice bonus to wrap up your visit to Snoopy town.

Bring the little ones to zoom around VroomTown Driving City

Your kid may still need a booster seat in the car, but they’ll be upgraded to the driver’s seat when they zoom through VroomTown Driving City’s driving course. Kiddos are sure to have a blast at this unique indoor playground – I know 5-year-old me would have gone bananas at the car wash station.
