If you’re looking forward to more JB trips, here’s one to add to the list – SKS City Mall JBCC. This new mall in JB, opening in 2026, will feature retail shops, eateries, and entertainment spots for the whole family.
SKS City Mall JBCC is an upcoming shopping mall and lifestyle hub that’ll be connected to the recently-opened Sheraton Johor Bahru hotel. Once the mall opens in 2026, we can already picture the weekend crowds of Singaporeans flocking over the Causeway for some retail therapy, and maybe even staying the night while they are at it.
The mall spans 4.5 floors and a massive 280,000sqft, so you can expect a huge variety of stores to explore. While only a few outlets have been announced so far, there’ll be more exciting names dropping as the opening draws closer.
Look forward to indulging in some shopping and exploring the many trendy lifestyle stores. Some stores to check out include KKV, a MINISO-style lifestyle store selling knick-knacks, and New Era, the famous American brand known for its caps and headwear.
The mall also has family-friendly spots packed with activities for all ages. If you’re a parent, visit the Jungle Gym indoor playground. It’s a giant play area with a variety of obstacle courses and a ball pit that’ll keep your little ones entertained for hours.
Or enjoy some TLC at Thai Odyssey, which specialises in Thai massage, or spruce up your look at the Luxe Prestige hair salon. There’ll also be Luxe Nail, where you can treat yourself to a manicure.
Of course, no JB trip is complete without food, and the mall has many F&B options to fuel your shopping adventures. Dig into both sweet and savoury bites, with spots like Palates & Bagels for hearty bagels, and All About Chew, a famous cookie spot in JB. If you’re arriving quite early in the day, grab a quick kaya toast breakfast at Oriental Kopi to kickstart your trip.
The mall is located just a 4-minute drive from JB customs, so as soon as you pass through the checkpoint, you’ll be there in no time, provided traffic is smooth. But even if it isn’t, it won’t take you more than a 10-minute drive to get there.
Soon, you’ll be able to book a stay at the Sheraton Johor Bahru hotel and walk over to the mall in a matter of minutes to spend the day. If you’re planning a JB trip in 2026, go ahead and bookmark this spot for your itinerary.
