The next time you cross the Causeway to check out Puteri Harbour, Pasar Karat, or the host of indoor things to do in JB, add Siddham Living to your list. Not only is this where you can get your hands on homeware products, this place also holds DIY candle workshops too. Here’s what to expect:

For those who don’t have time for a workshop, you can still stop by Siddham Living to buy their homeware goods. You can get their handmade soaps (RM35, ~S$10.07), hand lotions (RM38, ~S$10.93), and perfumes (RM168, ~S$48.36) that are made of natural fragrances like ginger and goat milk.
Aromatherapy stones.

If you like the calming effects of essential oils but don’t want to lug around an aroma diffuser, ask for their aromatherapy stones. These ceramic pieces in the shapes of teddy bears, fortune cats, and succulents absorb essential oils then release the fragrance slowly. Stones start from RM36 (~S$10.36) each, while essential oils start from RM34 (~S$9.79) per bottle.
Whether you’re a couple looking for a cool activity, or just someone flying solo and eager to pick up a new skill, the candle-making workshops at Siddham Living are the perfect chance to make that happen.
A zen space to create your candles and soaps.

The candle workshops are priced from RM138 (~S$39.58), which is a little steep but these aren’t just simple melt-and-pour candles. You can choose between making a cake-shaped candle, or printing words like “I Love You” onto a candle to make it into a gift for someone else. Go one step further and customise the scents as well for a truly personalised gift.
If you’ve got extra time on your hands, they’ve got other workshops to craft your own soaps, body lotion, essential oil perfume, natural deodorant, and natural lipstick (from RM38, ~S$10.93).
The workshops are kid-friendly too.

The prices are inclusive of all necessary ingredients and step-by-step guidance from helpful instructors. Refreshments are also provided during the workshop. Plus, you’ll even get access to how-to videos, if you want to make more of these products at home.
If you’ve tried your hands at all the art jamming studios in Singapore, then it’s time to start exploring options up North. You’ll get a fun hands-on activity, and a unique, homemade gift to take home too. You might just want to bookmark this place for the upcoming long weekend ahead.
