Shopback – The Online Version of the Great Singapore Sale? It’s now here!

Your 9 Favourite Online Shops are now even cheaper

I have a love-hate relationship with the Great Singapore Sale. On one hand, I welcome the cheap bargains that feed my massive shopping appetite. On the other, I’m not too fond of crowds and snaking queues. Shopback is essentially the online version of the GSS, that will help you get amazing deals without having to leave the comfort of your home.

You will be able to get discounts at Singapore’s most popular online sites, for a whole host of products from fashion to electronics. Shopback has partnered up with 10 different e-commerce sites, including the popular ASOS, Zalora and even budget carrier Scoot for those in need of a travel holiday.

Whatever you find will on these sites will be cheaper after applying shopback’s code. The best part of it? It’s completely free!

Just use the code that we will be sharing at the bottom of this post!

Here’s a preview of some of the incredible finds we found with Shopback’s discounts!

1. Zalora

In some ways, Zalora is the Asian ASOS. It stocks over 500 local and international brands and designers. With free delivery and 30 days’ free return, it’s no wonder this site is growing in popularity.

We spotted some great discounts! Their 2 for $32 Ezra basics offer was tempting, I admit. That’s $16 for a perfectly gorgeous full outfit. You won’t even get prices like that on blogshops these days.

I love funky details and this one hits all the right notes at a very tempting price. Unfortunately, Shopback’s discounts are not applicable with sale items, but prices like these are perfectly reasonable.

2. Scoot

Shopback’s got one of our favourite budget carriers on board. The prices at Scoot are already incredible but with Shopback’s discount code, you get an additional cut on your budget fares. Now you can afford to splurge a little on the FlyBagEat option, which includes 15kg check-in baggage and a hot meal in-flight.

Check out the after-discount prices – it’s just $4 more than the no-frills no-baggage option!

3. Luxola

Any girl who knows her make-up will know that Luxola is a haven for all things beauty-related. They stock brands that you can’t find in mainstream shops around Singapore. Imagine my excitement when I heard that Luxola is one of Shopback’s partners! This means you get your hands on coveted make-up products at lower prices.

Here are some of my personal picks from Luxola’s range of unconventional beauty products. Mario Badescu’s Silver Powder works like a mask to exfoliate blackheads. Apply it on your face with damp cotton wool and wash it off after 10 minutes with toner.

Make-up products just seem to one-up each other all the time. The difference between a BB cream and a CC cream is that CC (Colour Correcting) cream addresses sallowness in addition to acting as an all-in-one foundation and sunscreen. Here’s our pick. This one is popular for its lightweight formula and natural coverage.

4. Omigo

Omigo sells an entire range of products, from books and stamps to cameras and computers. You may be able to snag some good deals from their ever-changing sale section. The tech section in particular is a great place to find reliable and affordable electronics.

These Skullcandy headphones retail at almost double the price offered on Omigo at the usual brick and mortar stores.

You can even get your hands on some baby care essentials at a steal. This cute elephant blankie looks like it costs much more than it’s going for.

5. All Deals Asia

All Deals Asia is the place to go for one-off discounts on all sorts of products and services, from travel packages to beauty products. Authentic Davidoff fragrances at $36? Yes, it’s true. A 4 day trip to Phuket at $288 per pax, inclusive of return air ticket and hotel? Absolutely.

With an additional 6% off from Shopback, the crazy deals here will be unbelievable even for the most seasoned of Singaporean hagglers!

6. CheapTickets.sg

If the thought of comparing air ticket fares and hotel booking rates scares you, check out CheapTickets.sg. You can buy the cheapest flight out of Singapore, book a hotel room and rent a car for your stay – all in one place. They even link you up with insurance options. Do note though, that the discount codes aren’t applicable with budget airlines.

7. HotelClub

While we’re talking about travel, here’s another hotel booking site with an enticing concept. Book your hotels with HotelClub and get back up to 7% of what you spend. This amount can be used to pay off hotel bookings you make with them next time.

The icing on the cake is that they can get you special perks and freebies from their partner hotels – such as breakfast, parking space and wifi.

We spotted a 4 star Bangkok hotel going for a rate of $55 a night. That’s equivalent to the rates at many other lower end hotels.

8. Gilt

Gilt is doing some great work making designer brands accessible to the masses. They offer up to 60% discounts on different brands every day. Bag a Herve Leger bodycon or a Kate Spade tote at half the price. But move fast – most sales last for a day and a half at most.

This Kate Spade Crossbody was going at a quarter of its original price!

9. iHerb.com

This has got to be my favourite find of all. I know the site looks a little dodgy at first glance, and going by the name, you’re probably wondering if they sell fresh produce.

This place actually sells a wide range of products, but here’s a little tip. Head straight to the Bath and Beauty section, where they stock some cult favourite beauty brands you can’t find in local stores.

A makeup sponge from Real Techniques costs only $7.50, while a cruelty-free brush set costs $22 for four brushes. Sephora’s brushes in comparison, retail at $20 to $30 each.
