Recent months may have turned our sense of work-life or school-life balance upside down. Was there even a June holiday? Where did that go?
But the good news is that the September holiday (5th-13th September 2020) have arrived – a first semblance of an actual term break in a while. For young families and students, here are some of the best September holiday deals to fill up the week with some extra fun while saving money:
Most of us have dined at the Michelin-starred cha chaan teng Tim Ho Wan. You might have noticed that they have almost everything you’d anticipate at a dim sum restaurant – except for those delectable, oozing, IG-worthy custard buns.
That’s about to change, with the restaurant chain kicking off the school holidays with a complimentary 3-piece custard bun dish for students. Steamed and fried versions are both available in this exclusive preview, limited to 100 buns per day per outlet – students just need to flash their student passes at any of their outlets to get it.
Promotion period: Until 13th September 2020
Can’t meet Chris Evans IRL? No problem.
The chance of meeting our favourite celebrities in real life is one in a million, so head to Madame Tussauds instead, where you can snap a picture with uncanny wax-made replicas of your favourite celebs – an experience as close as it gets to the real deal.
Originally ending in August, their ongoing 1-for-1 promotion listed in our Singapore Rediscovers article has recently been extended till 4th October 2020, covering this school holiday period!
