There’s A New Budget Flight From SG To Vienna, Time For That Europe Backpacking Trip

Many of us dream of whisking ourselves away to Europe, but the harsh reality is that it costs a lot of moolah. Airfare alone can set you back a hefty sum, and that’s before you even add up the costs of sightseeing and indulgent eats. But come June this year, there’s going to be a solution for us budget baddies. Scoot will be launching direct flights to Vienna from just $309, just in time for us to have a Euro summer.


Direct flights to Vienna from $309

From 3rd June 2025, Scoot will be operating 3 flights to Vienna weekly on their Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Each flight is expected to take around 13 hours, and a one-way ticket starts at $309.

Meanwhile, return flights in June are currently as low as $299.56, making a round trip to Vienna just about $600. You can book your tickets now on Scoot’s website.

Scoot’s economy tickets come with a 10kg carry-on baggage allowance, but those who want more luggage space and an overall more luxe experience can consider upgrading to ScootPlus.

ScootPlus one-way tickets to Vienna currently start at $659, and come with perks like a 15kg carry-on baggage allowance, 30kg check-in baggage and wider plane seats with extra legroom for a more enjoyable flight experience.


New flight to Iloilo City is also available

Aside from Vienna, Scoot will also be launching flights to Iloilo City, a city in the Philippines known for its colonial architecture and white-sand beaches. Flights here will commence on 14th April 2025, and prices start from $129 for a one-way ticket.
