We have our fair share of Korean supermarkets and Japanese grocery stores like Shine Korea and Don Don Donki; and for Chinese supermarkets, I’m sure Scarlett is the first to come to mind. It’s where we can conveniently get our hands on unique snacks and drinks from Chinese brands. And lo and behold, the largest Scarlett supermarket has recently opened its doors at Westgate.
Scarlett entered our market in October 2020 and is hailed as Singapore’s most prominent Chinese supermarket chain. The brand sells imported Chinese goods, from snacks to drinks and even fresh produce. They also import famous brands like Haidilao, Haohuanluo, and Genki Forest.
There are now 32 Scarlett supermarkets across our island, with 4 24-hour outlets. Find the full list of Scarlett outlets here.

The newly opened outlet is located in Westgate mall on the basement level (#B2-01). Upon alighting at Jurong East MRT station, exit via Exit D, and you’ll see the link bridge leading you directly to the mall.
The live seafood section and butchery are the first among all the other outlets and are perfect for buying ingredients to enjoy hotpots or BBQs at home.

Shoppers can pick and choose the seafood straight out of the tank. There are selections of oysters, clams, lobsters, prawns, and even king crabs with prices starting from $2.80. There’s also a variety of fresh meat cuts to choose from at the butchery.
Fret not about lunch or dinner because this outlet offers many dine-in options, from savoury mains to desserts. There are also seats and tables for visitors to enjoy their meals in-store.

When in Scarlett, we always flock to the mix-and-match section, and this new outlet has the largest selection of snacks. For just $5, you can pick up 10 packs of snacks like jellies, nuts, chips, and sweets.
