The question that gets tossed around most as Christmas approaches is “any plans for the December holidays?” Some of you are headed to see the snow capped mountains of Mount Fuji or ski down the slopes of the Swiss Alps, but with SAFRA Punggol’s exciting Christmas line-up, you and your kids won’t be missing out even if you’re staying in Singapore.
Skate ‘round a Christmas tree or stuff yourselves silly with the friends and family, because adding to the Singapore cheer is Holiday Connections @ SAFRA Punggol. With – take a deep breath now – a roller skating rink, FREE FLOW chicken kebabs, nachos & cheese and hotdog buns* and even Christmas bouncy castles, SAFRA’s newest club house is providing you more reasons to travel to the far north-east. Here’s what else you can expect:
*Whilst stocks last. Queuing for food gives you quality time with the fambam
Come watch the lighting up of SAFRA Punggol’s first ever Christmas tree and get into full-swing party mode taking hits at their Christmas piñata. This is also your chance to unleash your creativity with some tree decorating and ornament making.
Set the kids loose at the bouncy castle and go about these fun-filled activities in peace, perhaps you’ll even squeeze in some last minute shopping at the festival bazaar. Any festival is incomplete without some feast-ivities, so don’t miss the free-flow of snacks – chicken kebabs, nachos & cheese, hotdog buns – tasty treats to enjoy while grooving to the holiday tunes from live bands.
Living in Singapore, there’s no way the reservoirs are freezing over in our warm tropical winters and the closest experience we can get to skating on ice, is a wheel-y good equivalent – roller skating. Strap up your roller skates, imagine yourself to be in front of Rockefeller Centre, and do donuts around the atrium’s giant Christmas Tree.
Don’t worry if you don’t have skates to wear, you can head on down to rent a pair.
Price: $15/hour (SAFRA Members) | $18/hour (Guest) | Free if you bring your own skates and safety gear!
Santa’s beating the wintry cold this year, making a trip down to the North-East Pole of Singapore. He’s blocked out time from his schedule to meet you every Friday to Sunday between 26 Nov till 18 Dec (5pm & 7.30pm). So make sure to be good till then, because Santa will know if you’ve been naughty or nice.
All these events are happening on 26 Nov, so be sure to head down for a full day of fun and festivities!
Where: SAFRA Punggol, Atrium@Level 3
When: 26 Nov 2016 | Saturday | 4PM – 9PM
In addition to the Christmas Light Up event, SAFRA Punggol has a whole slew of festive workshops for kids (4 years old and up) running throughout December. Some of you parents really get into the spirit of giving, taking your kiddos to Toys ‘R’ Us for a shopping spree, only to end up spending the rest of the year tidying up the toy clutter.
But these five workshops will be a complete gift gamechanger, as THEY start giving you their handmade presents instead. Choose from classes teaching your kiddos to make Christmas cards, clay ornaments and even their very own snow globes.
And if you parents want to join in on the fun, lend your little angels a hand making candy jars and crafting x’mas socks.
*SAFRA Members can register via SAFRA Online and guests may proceed to any SAFRA clubs for submission and payment.
