Not all rooftop bars in Singapore require a dress code, but those that do ask for patrons to come in smart casual attire. These bars are Level 33, Mr Stork, Levant Bar, Moon Rooftop Bar & Lounge, 1-Altitude, and CÉ LA VI .
Vue is the only one that requires business casual attire, which means collared shirts, dress pants, and loafers or dress shoes for the men. Ladies should dress appropriately in solid-coloured dresses that end at the knee, or pantsuits with long-sleeved blouses. Covered shoes, such as pumps, are a must.
Freshly opened in 2024 is NOVA Rooftop Bar, a glitzy nightlife spot perched on Level 63 of One Raffles Place, which makes it the highest rooftop bar in the whole of Singapore. The prime location makes it a go-to for after-work drinks, and the panoramic views of the CBD skyline are simply unparalleled.
The scenery won’t be the only thing you’ll be taking snaps of; NOVA’s centrepiece is none other than an illuminated steel sculpture called ASTRA. This futuristic artwork brings the energy of galactic supernovas straight to the bar.
Bites and tipple here include French Amelie Oysters (from $42), Seasonal Vegetable Tempura ($16) served with a fiery Szechuan garlic sauce, and cocktails priced from $20. Those leading an alcohol-free lifestyle need not FOMO, as NOVA offers customised mocktails priced at $12.
