11 Classic Romantic Places In Singapore For Couples To Visit Even If It’s Not V’Day

Romantic places in Singapore

If you’ve been in a long-term relationship, you’d be well aware of what it’s like to fall into the same old routine. It’s always the same places, food and activities year in year out. Well, it’s never too late to mix things up with these romantic places in Singapore.

Here’s where you can go to add a little more spice to your relationship or celebrate that special occasion with your partner.

1. Stargaze and catch a planetarium show at the Science Centre

The Science Centre may not be the first place we think of when looking for a lovey-dovey date night idea. Heck, it’s probably far from it – nevertheless switch up your usual dinner-and-drinks Friday nights with a trip to the west. That’s sure to surprise your bb.

The Friday Night Stargazing & Digital Planetarium Live Show happens every third and fourth Friday of the month. For just $17/pax, couples can sit back and enjoy a planetarium show followed by a stargazing session in the observatory. At $80, you can enjoy a private stargazing session as well.

If that isn’t romantic enough, you’d have plenty of opportunities to drop astronomy-themed pickup lines. Our favourite? “Do you live on Mars? Cuz you look out of this world.”

Price: From $17
Address: 15 Science Centre Road, Singapore 609081
Sessions: 7pm-10pm, every third and fourth Friday of the month
Contact: 6425 2500 | Science Centre website

2. Feel like you’re in the Maldives at Changi Bay Point

If there’s an award for most romantic country in the world, the Maldives would, without a doubt, be in the running. Bring your boo to catch the sunrise at our very own “little Maldives” here in Singapore, at Changi Bay Point.

Yes, it’s kinda ulu but the lalang patches, flower fields, and best of all, unobstructed views of the sea will make this the perfect spot to profess your love to one another. For those still in the “courting” stage, the scenic lookout points will make your other half feel like they’re in the ultimate romance movie.

3. Catch a private rooftop movie screening at The Sundowner
