Universal Studios Singapore, S.E.A. Aquarium & RWS Hotels Are Now Reopened To KIV For Staycations

Resorts World Sentosa has reopened

Ask everyone you know about their scrapped travel plans for 2020 and they’d all agree that a true holiday is warranted after months of self-isolation. Well, now that a ton of attractions and hotels have reopened, you can finally have that well-deserved staycation right here in Singapore.

Over at Resorts World Sentosa, you’ll be glad to know that Universal Studios Singapore and S.E.A. Aquarium have reopened with safe-distancing measures in place. With hotels thrown in the mix, there are now tempting deals to cop for your next staycay. Here’s what you can expect:

Hop onto your favourite rides at Universal Studios Singapore

Universal Studios Singapore has finally reopened! That’s right – you can now hop aboard your favourite rides like TRANSFORMERS The Ride: The Ultimate 3D Battle and the thrilling Battlestar Galactica: HUMAN vs. CYCLON. Don’t forget to take that mandatory photo by the Universal Studios Singapore Globe to play tourist for the day.

Their One-Day Adult tickets are priced at $59 (U.P. $77) from now till 16th September 2020, so plan a trip here to get the most out of it.

For easy navigation around the park, download the official Universal Studios Singapore app (iOS, Android) as it provides you with a map and guides to wait times for rides, Meet and Greet times with movie and cartoon characters, and amenities.

Safe distancing measures are also in place: besides SafeEntry check-ins and hand sanitisers stationed at every ride, each ride will have alternate seating between families. All seats will also be thoroughly disinfected after each use, so you can get on the rides worry-free.

Additionally, virtual queue tickets will be issued if you arrive at a ride with a full queue*. You’ll be issued a queue ticket with an allocated time slot, and you can maximise your time in the park to go for other activities while waiting. Just remember to come back within 20 minutes of the time slot stated on your ticket.

Those who purchase One-Day tickets can also start the day early at the park. Enter from 12PM onwards to take lots of pics at exclusive meet-and-greet sessions, have lunch in the park, and be first in line when rides open at 2PM. Passholders and all other ticket holders can purchase the Priority Entry Special Ticket ($9) to enjoy the same early entry benefits.

P.S.: From now till 31st August 2020, redeem a free cup of LiHO TEA when you purchase tickets with Mastercard. Choose between 2 exclusive Resorts World Sentosa flavours – Singapore Swirl and Singapore Tea Sling.

Aquariums aren’t just a great place for the young’uns to learn about marine life; they’re also perfect for romantic dates and family outings alike.

That’s probably why S.E.A. Aquarium’s large oceanic habitats and tunnels have long been a popular spot for both locals and tourists alike.
