There’s more than one reason why gamers never seem to leave their homes. If it’s not because we’re busy playing games, it’s probably because we’ve spent all our money on them. Well, here’s some good news if your wallet’s emptier than you’d like it to be: PlayStation is giving out free games that include Horizon Zero Dawn till June 2021 with no strings attached.
Those who subscribe to PlayStation (PS) Plus are no strangers to accessing “free” cult-favourite titles on the regular. But the catch is, it’s only yours till you decide to end your subscription. With PlayStation’s pandemic-driven Play At Home initiative, these free games are yours to keep forever – even without a paid PS Plus subscription.
If you love adventure games, you’ll be glad to know that Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition is up for grabs from now till 15th May 2021. And you can download it for both the PS4 and PS5.
Delve into a world of mechanical creatures, post-apocalyptic tribes, and adventure.

Along with the critically-acclaimed base game, this version comes with The Frozen Wilds expansion pack, plus additional weapon and outfit packs. That’s a good 30-40 hours of gameplay to tide you through the upcoming public holidays.

You can also get your hands on a selection of indie games. Explore the whimsical underwater world of ABZU from the makers of Journey, or challenge your mind with the puzzles of The Witness. PlayStation VR titles such as Astro Bot: Rescue Mission, Paper Beast, and Moss are also available for free.
With two more months to go on PlayStation’s Play At Home campaign, you can expect more popular titles to be released for free. After all, Horizon Zero Dawn joins the ranks of previously-offered titles like Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Ratchet & Clank.
These free games will be up on the PlayStation Store for a limited time only. Simply check the store for their respective availability dates, and for new releases.
