Gyrotonic and Gyrokinesis – 2 words that probably sound foreign to most of us. TL;DR, these are methods used to help injured individuals to promote an increased range of motion and stronger joint stability. And even if you’re whole and intact – congrats – you can still try pilates that combines these methods at idō Studio.
Group classes start from $40/session, and 1-to-1 classes go at $145/session.

Is pilates synonymous with … pricey? Not at Pilates Plus. If you’re a first timer here, they offer a trial package of $75 for 3 group classes.
They used to have a studio at SAFRA Club Mount Faber, but it ceased operations in March 2023. Busybees will be glad to know that the Tanjong Pagar International Plaza outlet is still up and running, and classes continue to run from 7am-8pm so you can squeeze in a workout before or after work.

Followers of local fitness influencer @itzeugena will know that she reopened her pilates studio, BE Studios, at a new location last July. They currently offer group classes for mat work, where prices start from $310/10 classes. And while most studios have a 3-month expiration date for class packages, BE Studios’ packages expire in 6 months.
Alternatively, you can also try out a single group class at $42/session, or go for private classes from $140/session. Pilates fanatics can also purchase their unlimited monthly package at $225/month where you can get access to all sessions – including the reformer classes. You can conveniently manage your account and book classes through their mobile app too.

“Hot” pilates might just be the new hot thang. For the uninitiated, imagine you’re doing pilates in a sauna – but Jal Yoga uses infrared panels instead so the room is less stuffy. Benefits are aplenty for this form of pilates, including improved circulation, detoxification of the body, and pain-relieving effects.
This concept is still pretty rare in Singapore, so it’s worth a try to see if you’re up for this interesting workout class. And with 5 studios located at Alexandra, Upper Bukit Timah, Upper Thomson Road, Katong, and Woodlands, you’ll be able to easily find a class to join.

Admittedly, certain parts of our body need more work than others. BodyLove Pilates has spiced up their classes and structured them to specifically target various muscle groups, so you can focus on your desired body part. For example, you can go for the Arms, Abs, Bum class or opt for the Jump Sculpt Burn one that strengthens your arms and legs.
Group classes start at $45/class, and private sessions go from $130/class.

We’re talking about the basics here at Pilates Flow. No additional jumps, kicks, or equipment – the classes here stick to the traditional pilates work which is great for those looking to try out a new form of workout.
The studio only holds private and duo equipment classes, and this is to ensure that every participant is given proper guidance to mitigate injuries. Even their group mat work classes are small, kept to a maximum of 6 per class.

Having a 1-to-1 session with your trainer can get pricey, since you’re essentially paying for undivided attention and guidance from them. Line Pilates offers a sharing plan for private classes (from $105/session for 60 sessions), and you can split the sessions with your pal.
But if you’re good with going for group classes, the place also has group sessions from $35/class – pretty affordable given its central location at Raffles Place. And for our Korean-speakers, Line Pilates has sessions that are conducted solely in Korean. Daebak!
The secret’s out – pilates is the number 1 way to toned abs and a bubble butt. Hop on the pilates bandwagon and sign up for a class at these pilates studios in Singapore. Depending on your budget or workout preference, you’ll definitely be able to find one that suits you best. Xoxo, pilates girl.
