The pickleball hype is still strong as ever, which means securing affordable courts during peak hours can be really tough. If you live in Bedok, you’re in luck – People’s Association and non-profit organisation Metazone have teamed up to bring PickleConnect @ PAssion Wave Bedok Reservoir (PWBR), a free weekly pickleball sesh that’ll be held after working hours.

PickleConnect is an upcoming weekly community event at PWBR that’ll consist of hosted pickleball sessions running from 6.30pm to 9pm on Wednesdays. The games will be held across 2 sheltered courts, but 2 additional training courts will be available depending on the turnout rate.
The first session will be held at PWBR on 19th November 2025, where attendees can look forward to introductory pickleball classes and games, plus stand the chance to win a free pickleball paddle.

Pickleball equipment isn’t cheap, so you’ll be glad to hear that paddles and balls will be provided at all sessions, free of charge.

To register for a slot at PickleConnect, you’ll simply need to fill up a form on their website. You’ll then receive an email with an invite link to their WhatsApp group chat, where you’ll be able to stay updated on announcements. Alternatively, attendees can also sign up for individual sessions on the Reclub app.
If you’re looking for a fun way to bond with fellow pickleball players, be sure to register for PickleConnect @ PWBR. The best part? Sessions are entirely free and held till 9pm, so you’ll be able to jump in after knocking off from your 9 to 5.
