This New Pickle & Padel Venue In SG Has Lounge Areas & Sheltered Courts, All Surrounded By Greenery

Pickle Padel Movement in Woodleigh

Pickleball might already have Singaporeans in a chokehold, but padel isn’t too far behind either. Lucky for us, Pickle Padel Movement, a new pickleball and padel venue in Singapore, has decided to merge the best of both worlds.

There are sheltered courts to help you dodge the midday sun, lounge areas to recover between rallies, and greenery that makes your workout feel less like work.

What is Pickle Padel Movement?

It’s the only spot in central Singapore where you can get your pickleball and padel fix in one go. The courts are also surrounded by greenery, so while you’re working on your backhand, your eyes get a break from all that screen time.

Fun fact: This place used to be an underused futsal turf, which got a makeover, and has now been turned into a hub for anyone keen to try the 2 hottest racquet sports on the scene.

What to expect at Pickle Padel Movement?

5 outdoor pickleball courts & 3 sheltered padel courts

There are 4 outdoor pickleball courts as well as 1 outdoor pickleball show court. Each court comes in a striking blue and purple combo that’s a whole aesthetic, so don’t forget to snap some quick pics in between games.

To stay out of the scorching sun, head over to the 3 sheltered padel courts, where you can rally in peace without melting. Each court comes in a different colour – blue, pink, and purple – making every match feel a little more vibey while you battle it out.

Lounge areas to relax & watch matches

The lounge areas are great for cooling down after an intense match or for plus-ones to cheer you on from the sidelines. There are benches, chairs, and even beanbags for peak relaxation. Some sections are also sheltered for you to get comfy.

Group & private lessons

But if you’re completely new to either sport, you won’t be left fumbling around. Sign up for the Introduction to Pickleball Clinic ($59.50/member, $66/non-member) or the Introduction to Padel Clinic ($50.40/member, $56/non-member) to get started.

The 2-hour pickleball session covers all the essentials, from rules of the game to basic shots and where you should actually be standing on court. Meanwhile, the 1-hour padel clinic is a quick crash course where you’ll learn the fundamentals, pick up key strokes, and get a feel for footwork and positioning.

If you’d rather learn with others, go for the group lessons. Pickleball classes are split into 3 tiers to suit different skill levels, and padel classes require a minimum of 2 players, so jio a friend and learn together.

There are also private lessons with small class sizes of 1 to 4 players, where you’ll get more attention while you work on your shots. Prices start from $135/member and $150/non-member for pickleball, and $180/member and $200/non-member for padel.

And for the little ones, there’s even a Junior Academy, where kids can pick up both sports from a young age. Sessions are priced at $45/member and $50/non-member for both pickleball and padel.
