Oktoberfest at FairPrice Finest

Every year beer fanatics unite and enjoy giant swigs of the liquid goodness while indulging in sausages and pretzels. If this doesn’t ring a bell, we’re referring to the iconic Oktoberfest that’s celebrated all over the globe.

Soak up the festivities right here in Singapore, where you can head to local stores such as FairPrice Finest for an extensive range of booze and food to splurge on. Curious and hungry? Read on to find out more.

DIY Oktoberfest with booze & snacks from FairPrice Finest

Be it an ice-cold beverage, fresh produce, or yummy snacks, FairPrice Finest has a wide variety of F&B to peruse and stock up for any party you may be hosting. From 15th September to 5th October 2022, the supermarket is bringing out the big guns and “flying” Oktoberfest to Singapore. And the cherry on top – there will be sweet deals on selected items too.

The quintessential beverage of Oktoberfest would defo be beer, and FairPrice is nothing short of options.

Putting an Italian twist to a brewski is the Peroni Nastro Azzurro ($9.90/4 cans, U.P. $11), brewed with Italian maize and malted barley for a tinge of bitterness that goes perfectly with savoury foods. Another option would be the CONNOR’S Stout Porter Can Beer Four Malts ($17.95/4 cans, U.P. $19.90) that has a creamy collar atop the beer.

Fans of fruity beer can try Brooklyn Brewery’s Defender IPA ($17.95/4 bottles, U.P. $22.90) for a refreshing and sweeter taste. You can almost imagine you’re at the beach in the Maldives, or at a barbeque in your friend’s backyard.

And a must at every great party is a tonne of delicious grub to pair your booze with. Fill up your snack trays with the Penn State Pretzels ($4.20/pack, U.P. $4.95) or the Refoods Nuts ($5.30/pack, U.P. $5.90) for a crunchy nibble. Both come in several flavours so all guests are satisfied.

Both the salami and sausages come in an assortment of mouth-watering flavours.

For a more substantial alternative, go for the Carne Meats salami (from $4.50/pack, U.P. from $5.50) that’s ready-to-eat. Or if you have time to spare, cook up some Delicato Premium Sausages ($8.95/packet) that’s running a buy 2 get 1 free offer. We’d recommend the cheese flavour that’s truly *chef’s kiss*

Recreate Oktoberfest with FairPrice Finest

Whether you’re planning a festive get-together at home, an outdoor party cum picnic, or stocking up on pantry staples, FairPrice Finest has a slew of top-notch treats and drinks to choose from.

Think Where’s Wally? but pretzel edition.

And the festivities don’t end there – FairPrice is hosting a social media contest where 3 people can score $80 FairPrice vouchers. The contest runs from 15th-29th September, and all you have to do is count and comment the total number of pretzels hidden in the image on their FairPrice Finest Instagram Page.
