Mention new things to do in JB to the average Singaporean, and they will probably talk about all the new cafes in JB. Well, here’s another one to check out on your next JB day trip: Oh My Ice and TuTu Studio. It’s a pet-friendly dessert cafe with a tufting studio right beside it, so you can fill up your tummy and get artsy conveniently in the same place.
The current exchange rate is RM1=~S$0.30 as of 22nd September 2024.
If you’re not driving, either take the KTM Shuttle train or the Causeway Link Bus to JB Sentral. After that, it’s a 20-minute drive to get to the cafe by Grab, and you’ll reach the entrance of TuTu Studio.
Once inside, you will be greeted with a signage of Oh My Ice cafe and TuTu Studio. As mentioned, Oh My Ice is a dessert cafe, whilst TuTu Studio is a tufting and fluid-pouring DIY studio.
Regardless, pet-owners will be glad to know that both places are pet-friendly, so you’re welcome to bring your furry friends along or just ogle at the ones around. There are plenty of IG-worthy garden-themed backdrops for you to take cute pictures of them too.
Don’t forget to jio all your buddies.

The phrase “the more the merrier” doesn’t ring any truer here with their ongoing tufting promotions, valid until 31st December 2024. Each additional person you bring will lower the cost/pax, until you reach 5 peeps or more. Once you do the math, you’ll realise it’s possible to save up to RM100 even. Here’s the breakdown:
Tufting size | Number of pax | Price/pax |
30cm by 30cm |

50cm by 50cm |

Those with a sweet tooth can dig into the crowd-favourite strawberry-flavoured desserts. Start with the Strawberry Cream Cake (RM23) before trying the Strawberry Bingsu (from RM15) that melts in your mouth. Make it come full circle by washing the sweet remnants down with a cup of Strawberry Milk (RM16).
If that’s a bit too much strawberry for your liking, their bingsu treats also come in tropical flavours, like their Mango Bingsu (from RM14) or Mango Cream Cake (RM23). Matcha lovers can go for the Matcha Strawberry Bingsu (from RM14) or Matcha Basque cake (RM25).
The portion size is fairly generous and can be shared amongst a few people.

Despite being a dessert cafe, they also serve savoury dishes like Oven Baked Truffle Fries (RM20) garnished with parsley salt and black truffle, with a side of chilli for extra oomph. As the fries are made to order, it will take around 15 minutes for them to be made.
Make your IG story highlights match the nature-theme garden of the cafe with either the Dream Ocean or Glowing Sunset drinks, each priced at RM16. But if you’re in need of a caffeine fix to stay awake for all the late night JB activities, recharge with a cup of Sea Salt Latte (RM19).

They say perfection takes time. Luckily over here, there is no time limit, so you don’t have to feel rushed as you unleash your inner artist. And if your final masterpiece isn’t masterpiecing, the staff will be more than happy to give your piece some final touch-ups for free.

Should you feel your throat parched at any minute, simply grab one of their free drinks, stored in cute miniature Bearbricks-shaped bottles.
Speaking of which, those active on social media would be familiar with Bearbricks due to their skyhigh prices. Here, you can design your own “Bearbricks” collectables via fluid-pouring on their fluid bears (from RM25). There are 5 different sizes to choose from.
Size of fluid bear | Price |
Keychain | RM25 |
23cm | RM69 |
36cm | RM119 |
56cm | RM199 |
76cm | RM399 |
Each fluid bear gives you access to any 3 colours, which you can use however you want. Whether you choose to go for different hues of the same colour, or just go all out colourful, it’s up to you!

Just note that the paint on the fluid bears takes roughly 2 days to dry off, so you’ll need to come back for your masterpieces another day. But if you’re in a time crunch, you can opt for their delivery service back to Singapore for just RM40. The waiting time will take around 1-3 working days.
If you’re feeling extra crafty and want to try out both tufting and fluid pouring, you can get the best of both worlds instead with their combo sets. Here’s what you can get:
Combo set | What’s included | Price | Amount saved |
Mini set |
| RM199 | RM69 |
Classic set |
| RM399 | RM89 |
Luxury set |
| RM499 | RM199 |

For the uninitiated, tufting basically involves inserting a bunch of yards or fibres onto a monk’s cloth, backed by a sturdy base. The insertion of the yards is done via a tufting gun; which will take some getting used to as you manoeuvre over the intricacies of your design. Not to worry, since you have unlimited time, remember?
With sweet desserts to munch on, fun arts and crafts activities, and a pet-friendly policy, Oh My Ice and TuTu Studio definitely make for an ideal date idea to bring your partner to.
