Counting down to the next public holiday in Singapore for a moment to exhale and step away from the 9-to-6 grind is all too real. And if you’ve been too deep in work to even notice the calendar, here’s your reminder: the next one is just around the corner on 1st May for Labour Day. Even better, NTUC is sweetening the holiday this year with free ice cream giveaways across 7 islandwide locations, from now till 21st May 2026.

NTUC leads Singapore’s labour movement through initiatives that support workers across different stages of their careers, so this campaign is very much in line with what they do – recognising and appreciating workers across the country.
With Labour Day, also known as May Day, coming up on 1st May, the ice cream giveaway is a nod to all the everyday hustle we put in. Instead of just a “thanks” in words, NTUC is marking the occasion in a sweeter way by handing out free ice cream at both heartland and office locations.

The giveaway kicked off on 21st April 2026 at Our Tampines Hub, but if you missed it, don’t worry – there are still plenty of chances to get your hands on a scoop over the span of 7 days across 7 different locations.
Here’s a quick breakdown of where and when to head down:

| Punggol Digital District | 29th Apr 2026 | 12pm-2pm |
| Geneo @ Singapore Science Park | 5th May 2026 | 11am-3pm |

Just show up and follow these quick steps:
If you’re an NTUC member, flash your physical or e-card to receive an exclusive blind pack on top of your treat.
Take note that it’s limited to 1 redemption per person for both the ice cream and blind pack, and as with all free things, it’s while stocks last.
While the giveaway isn’t happening on Labour Day itself, this small treat is a simple perk that can feel extra shiok after a long stretch of work. So mark your calendar and head down to one of the locations for a well-earned break!
