Good news for introverts: you can skip the awkward convos with the front desk and head straight to your room by checking in online. Use a mobile key – which will be provided during the web check-in process – to access your allocated room throughout your stay.
For the health junkies who’d like to maintain their workout regime while on holiday, stay active at the 24-hour fitness centre and swimming pool. If you don’t want to leave your room, ask for their In-Room Fitness Kit to work out in private.

Singapore isn’t huge, but you gotta admit that anything located near the MRT gets bonus points. The 172-room Citadines Connect City Centre Singapore is situated just a short walking distance from Dhoby Ghaut MRT, making it an accessible and central choice for your next staycation with the gang.
Kids will love this spot as they have family-friendly rooms and lofts. Most of their rooms come with a bright splash of colour, so your staycay mood’s bound to be upbeat.
The hotel has a rooftop restaurant, outdoor swimming pool, and gym. But if you like your itinerary packed to the brim, Plaza Singapura is just a stone’s throw away with plenty more entertainment.

If you’re looking for a hotel with a fresh take on interior design, check out Vibe Hotel Singapore Orchard, a brand originating from the Land Down Under. Rather than straight edges and simple marble flooring, it is decked out with contemporary designs. Its geometric and rounded furnishings also contrast against the clean lines and minimalistic approach of a regular hotel.
Their in-house restaurant serves Aussie-inspired dishes to chow down on. Though if you’d like to grill some shrimps on the barbie, you can do so at the pool area that comes with outdoor BBQ spots.

At Gardens By The Bay which is brimming with liveliness, you can find a place of tranquillity. The Garden Pod hotel, a new venture by Shipping Container Hotel, is a container-style hotel with 2 storeys.
Located at the Serene Garden, you’ll be able to have a peaceful place to meditate and relax. This place is also solar-powered and built sustainably which will be a fitting place for eco-warriors to relax.

Whether you’re starving or in need of a snack, you can have your fill at the dining options within the hotel. Pop by the D9 cakery for a slice or dig into some grilled meat at Opus Bar & Grill steakhouse.
Most excitingly, you can find a 12m rooftop pool on level 24 of the hotel. Feast your eyes on the view it offers of the city landscape. You can also pop by the 24-hour fitness centre to get your reps in at any time of the day while you’re there.
And if you’re in need of a knead, there is a spa where you can get some top-tier massages, facials, and body scrubs.
Down the street from voco Orchard Singapore is Mandarin Orchard Singapore, now revamped into Hilton Singapore Orchard. With over 1,000 rooms, you will find a variety of room types here – with and without a view of the city depending on whether you want a scenic view.
There’s also something for the kids too, with kid meals at their restaurant, Estate, and on their room service menus. Those younger than 5 years old can dine in for free while those aged 5-12 years old can get 50% discounts.

Families with kids aged 2-10 years old will be entitled to a welcome pack just for their little ones. They’ll get child-sized slippers, a bathrobe, and a mini backpack in each pack to make them feel stoked for the stay.

If you plan to take a break soon, check out these hotels for a more relaxing environment, and perhaps even check out some new attractions in Singapore that you haven’t gotten the chance to see.
