Staycations are one of our biggest guilty pleasures and something us Singaporeans would very gladly splurge on for a fun weekend with our loved ones. So, consider it good news that a new hotel, Pullman Orchard, is opening its doors in Singapore very soon.
Having 5 stars is the first of its charms. The luxury hotel is also going to have an open-air “beach club”, 9 different types of rooms and suites, and best of all, a central location in the heart of Orchard Road. For shopping, of course.

Perhaps the most intriguing thing about Pullman Orchard is its P.S.O Beach Club – the first along O-Road. No, a beach didn’t appear in town overnight. But sandy shores aside, this Level 4 open air space has everything you need for a pseudo seaside vacation, including cabanas, sunbeds, and a swim-up bar selling tropical cocktails.
Perhaps this might suit the fancy of those who love beach club energy without the sticky sea water.

Arguably, the most important part of any staycation is the rooms. The good news is there are 9 types of rooms and suites to choose from, starting from $357/night for the Classic Room. It comes with floor-to-ceiling windows, a plush Queen-sized bed and 55′ Smart LED TV with international channels.

You can also swing for the Deluxe Premier Room ($433.50/night) for something a little more spacious, or even celebrate anniversaries and birthdays at the Pullman, Deluxe, or Presidential Suite.

In-room perks include T2 tea, Italian coffee, and exclusive hand-crafted bathroom amenities from C.O. Bigelow. While there’s a 24/7 gym, those reluctant to leave their comfy rooms can opt for an in-room fitness kit instead.
Since it’s a new hotel, you can also expect tech-forward features including a digital key which speeds up the check-in process.

If food is your love language, you can take heart that the hotel’s snazzy dining options include a sunny Asia at Eden Restaurant. This chio restaurant has glass panels and ceilings for plenty of light to flood in during the day. You’ll also notice they have botanicals dotted around to complete the greenhouse aesthetic.

Come nightfall, you can also retreat to the classy Atelier Lounge to enjoy cocktails and wine from all around the world with your SO.

Most of the information about its opening has been kept on the DL but we did some digging. According to its website, Pullman Orchard will be opening in December 2022, but through the website, you can already start making bookings for stays from 1st January 2023 onwards for now.
Last we checked, weekend dates though the opening month are still available but be sure to book soon especially if you’re planning to stay during the CNY public holiday long weekend!
